Yes, we had mimeograph machines when I was in school, the ones with the blue ink on the white paper. Everybody sniffed those things! Maybe even the teachers!

I remember 'dial' telephones too!

I remember when kids used to walk to school, and back home later, unless it was
more than 1 mile. Now parents drive their kids 2 blocks to school! So stupid!

I remember when my hair was a little longer than yours. But I had bangs down to the eyebrows. That was popular then and is making a comeback now. My hair was curly as well.

Let's just say that I will have to get a wig to have that hair style again!

Holy Crap! I remember the mario show too X'D and Count Chocula!

* Pokemon being feared as a seizure-causing cult-status show amongst kids

* When the Disney channel was actually Disney oriented, and directed at children, and not nearly as slutty (Yep, the Mickey Mouse Club was actually renamed Club Skank......wait it doesn't exist anymore! :p)

* Hearing all about Tanya Harding crippling Nancy Kerrigan

* Oprah didn't control the minds/lives of millions upon million of people (fine she did, but it's even more recently....God forbid she leads a revolt! Nothing personal against her though

*Dr. Phil depended on Oprah for a T.V. show (recent, but true, and he probably still depends on her, he over-endorses her lol)

* Roseanne's revolting Star Spangled Banner, one of my few childhood memories that are that far back lol. I still remember a lot from when I was little though...most of it embarassing

*Metal Detectors weren't in schools, though mine doesn't have any, most people I know go to a school that does.

*Parents were so over-protective of their kids...it's REALLY annoying, I almost feel bad for the kids...almost...oh to be 8 again...

*People wouldn't sue at the drop of a pin

*Janet Reno on a power trip concerning Elian Gonzales

*People were actually courteous when driving

*Sonic the Hedgehog

*8-Bit Video Games

*When this topic started (wow I sure rambled..what else is new?)
