I tried it, but having good vision in one eye and being damn near blind in the other gave me a massive headache. Plus going out in the sunlight, even with sunglasses on, irritated the hell out of my bad eye.
I should get an eye patch just in case this happens a third time.

Oh, I didn't know you were in Florida. Got out of there 25 years ago and it was the best move I ever made. They say a change is as good as a rest and in light of aforementioned "CPS", maybe you should consider moving. Going home could be a chance for you to regroup.
