All I gotta say about that is this... Fox Viewers Least Informed According to Pew | Mirror On America CNN and even MSNBC jumped the gun on this. According to those in the court room yesterday, John Roberts took forever to exactly explain what the final ruling would be. Roberts talked about how the mandate was a tax... when it came to Ruth Ginzberg, she finally stated, what was up until then, not obvious. She finally said that the ACA Law had been upheld by the court.

Why are you adding an article criticising Fox specifically when addressing that both Fox and CNN mistook the entirety of the ruling based on the wording of the first part?

Senators and congressmen goofed this one too, the way the ruling was written was convoluted.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2012/06/cnn-fox-fail-the-supreme-court-ruling-127544.html

And I know this goes against the grain that Fox news never corrects itself when it "blatantly lies" to the public but here goes:

Here’s Fox’s correction, via Mediaite:
"We gave our viewers the news as it happened. When Justice Roberts said, and we read, that the mandate was not valid under the Commerce clause, we reported it. Bill Hemmer even added, be patient as we work through this. Then when we heard and read, that the mandate could be upheld under the government’s power to tax, we reported that as well—all within two minutes.
By contrast, one other cable network was unable to get their Supreme Court reporter to the camera, and said as much. Another said it was a big setback for the President. Fox reported the facts, as they came in."
And here’s CNN’s:
"In his opinion, Chief Justice Roberts initially said that the individual mandate was not a valid exercise of Congressional power under the Commerce Clause. CNN reported that fact, but then wrongly reported that therefore the court struck down the mandate as unconstitutional. However, that was not the whole of the Court’s ruling. CNN regrets that it didn’t wait to report out the full and complete opinion regarding the mandate. We made a correction within a few minutes and apologize for the error."

fox news is garbage. I used to watch the daily show and colbert a lot, and real time with bill maher. These days I'll tune in to colbert every once in a while for a laugh, and I really only watch maher when he has interesting people like neil degrasse tyson, or cornel west. I get my news from youtube and RT America.

No, it's not garbage. Garbage can be thrown out. Faux News is propaganda, which is supposed to be illegal in this country (tell Madison Avenue that one). Faux is crafted to sink like poison into the dumbed down brains of too many Amerikans.

I mainly watch the BBC as I am in the UK.

Seems to be some confusion over if the BBC is funded by the government....its not.

Every household in the UK that owns any electronic equipment that can view or record TV is subject to pay the licence fee.
That fee is paid by the people of the UK, it is paid into a government fund, but the government has no access to this money it is solely for the BBC.
The BBC is also responsible for the collection of this fee and not the government.

The BBC also funds itself by selling its programs in other countries.

There is also something called the BBC Trust. This is separate from the BBC and its role is to make sure that the BBC across all it's platforms (TV, Music, Web, Film, etc etc) is serving the best interests of the licence fee payer (British public)

BBC America is funded differently.

As I said I do mostly watch BBC news (don't know if it's any better or not)
Have CNN, Fox, Al jazeera even Russian news??
Fox is terrible full of opinions and lacking almost any factual material.

I switch to watching fox news. cnn all thay talk about is obama and I want know what is going on in the world.

I watch bbc world news on pbs too.

FNC is the only news I watch also. So tired of the obvious liberal slant (and often just plain dishonesty) by the other stations

HORSESHIT

Anyone who watches Faux News ends up dumber than if they had watched no news at all. Faux News is the fruition of GOP TV which was proposed by Roger Ailes decades ago. It has no news and is nothing but a propaganda arm of the GOP.

Your bullshit assertion that MSNBC is "left biased" is the tired old false equivalency argument. Morning Joke? The former Congressman from FL complete with a dead intern in his office? That's definitely liberal. Ed Schultz, who is only marginally left of center (and not very articulate or well informed), Ed Schultz who gets suspended when he pisses off the Gods at GE.....

Yes, who does own MSNBC? Ever gonna see a hard hitting story about the toxic nuclear power industry? (cue crickets chirping).

The media is only as liberal as the conservative businesses that own it.

If you're going to spread bullshit, put it on the lawn so the grass will grow.
Well, it's true!.....:yup:
