For the last several years I've had this suspicion that as an adolescent I had damaged the erectile tissue in my dick, (no idea how, but I noticed it first when I was a teen) and recently, I've really been wondering.

When I've got an absolute raging hard-on, then everything is fine, but when I'm a little less than at peak, my penis almost acts like it has a hinge, about 1-2 inches outside of my body, and wants to hinge upward.

During any kind of thrusting, if I'm at that less than fully erect state, it can be almost like a clicking in my dick at that hinge, not a clicking sound, but a feeling. like my penis wants to fold at the hinge.

This doesn't impede any kind of sexual activity, and it's only noticeable in certain positions, but I'd hate to think I could do more damage somehow!

Any thoughts on this?

Urologist. You may have damaged the tunica or fractured the penis (yes it can happen). Only person who can tell you just what is happening.

roosevelt, if you're not having pain (i.e. rather SHARP pain) and there are no hardened nodules or pronounced bumps within the shaft area (indicating damaged tissue), I wouldn't think you should worry too much about it. My accumulated reading over time tells me that curvature and pronounced discomfort (when erect) typies any damage from the past. Scar tissue sets up, having this effect.

There can be of course, more flexability in a larger penis (typically) where it first exists the abdomen. The difference comparatively to average size fellas is sometimes remarkable too, in that those who are average tend to be very rigid in their erections and it often "hurts" to bend them downward (too far). Guys who are larger don't tend to be all that overly sensitive in that particular way. Instead, their penises are more flexible, often droop downward at their fullest erect state, and lazily swing back and forth (or bob up and down) pretty freely....all without discomfort.

My point is that whenever a man has truly damaged his penis, he's gonna know it. It's gonna hurt and it's likely gonna show some visible signs of being (sometimes grotesquely) bent or curved.

To me, your description doesn't necessarlily match what I've said above.
'Hope this helps.

Well guys, Thanks, I'm gonna see a urologist about it.

It is definitly not simpy "more flexible" it only bends one dirrection, and it bends at a very specific point, and in further thought, I've realized it actually dates back to my childhood, and there was indeed pain, but I was too embarassed to talk to anyone about it.

As I've said, it doesn't reduce the function, and I believe the reality is I half-broke my penis.

I'm going to the doctor about it to make sure I don't break it the rest of the way.
