I voted in the 2018 election!

I did my civic duty a couple days ago. Everyone, get out there and vote!

I early voted in Massachusetts. Took my nub of a pencil and filled in all the O's next to anyone with a D next to their name.

 

Just makes others do the same with a R.

No wonder Hillary lost and we got stuck with Trump.

 

My voting Democratic caused Mr Trump to be president. Got it.

 

Sure did...your votes for Obama...certainly one of the most inexperienced presidents of the last century ...
led to The Apprentice president and Kim Kardashian prison reform.

 

I don't know if you were serious or not, but even if not there are plenty of people who do indeed think this way. We all have our ideas of who we actually want to vote. Most of us don't really have faith in the democratic process. I certainly don't. I want to direct any of my activities that relate to American democracy towards the replacement of it with something more coherent.

 

Not a whole hell of a lot politically. For now I'm going to school and working on developing my foundations in theory. Perhaps one day I'll have the skills and time available to get involved, but it's not a priority for now.

 

Reminding my political opposites *not* to vote? You know how serious I was.

Voted here in IL. Found the early voting lines longer than the last Presidential election.

 

My wife and I mailed-in our ballots in early this week.

Here in California Proposition 6 to repeal the 12 cent per gallon gas tax plus an annual increase in car registration fees (rammed through late on a Friday night in Sacramento without a public vote) is getting more radio air play than the candidates. The deceptive wording on the ballot doesn't mention anything about a gas tax, only if Proposition 6 passes the freeways will have potholes large enough to engulf an eighteen wheeler and the Golden Gate Bridge will collapse from lack of upkeep.

 

What's so difficult to understand? Modern democracy is wack. I don't want political decisions to be made by the masses who have neither the experience/education to make them effectively, nor the sort of investment of service, heritage, or property that would motivate them to choose for the strength of the nation rather than merely their own petty interests. As I develop as a worldly person, what energies I devote towards politics I want to be focused on that which will undermine liberal democracy and shift power back towards those who are more qualified to take informed positions on political matters, and especially those who value our Euro-American heritage.

 

Yikes. Sounds like Trump’s your man.
