I"m voting tomorrow. Early voting seems sort of weird to me. It's like celebrating Thanksgiving on a Wednesday.
My state doesn't have it, anyway.
It felt weird to me at first, too, but my red state enacted Jim Crow laws over a decade ago requiring voters to show two forms of ID at the polls so I switched to vote-by-mail. No way I'm going to show papers to vote in person as required by those racist, rat-bastard Republicans.
Irony is that I didn't have to show ID to apply for early voting. I signed an affidavit once and it hasn't been questioned since.
Nice thing is the ballot arrives three weeks before election day so I can take my time and research ballot initiatives, judges and other minor candidates much more in depth at my leisure.
