Ok first of all I want to apologise for his attitude that’s fucked up but not all gay men are the same. So I feel a bit bad posting what I did. He can identify and do as he likes. What I am suspicious of here, though, is the combination of a) clear stated sexual interest in young men from the OP, b) his sensitivity to being thought gay and c) role play above that puts him in the position of "misunderstood" straight man victimised by gay affront. There's too much of that here. And the ironic thing is, very few of the 100% straight guys are going to accept him as straight, given his interests, so this isn't really about gay men not being accepting of straight sexuality as it's been spun.
