The issue is not about the teleprompter. By bringing it up repeatedly people are hinting that an articulate black man can only be so by being told what to say and when to say it.

(Kinda funny, on a side note I was reading a "news" article on FOX today that said (and I quote) "Mr. Obama clearly had no exit strategy before starting the war in Afghanistan."

After their parent company's $1 Million contribution to the Republican Governors Association it was made crystal clear that Faux is not any credible news source. And let's not even talk about their second largest shareholder, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who happens to be a follower of Islam. Funny how some of their pundits propagate all sorts of rhetoric against Muslims, yet one of their main men behind the scenes is a member of the Saudi Royal Family.

The fact that they're now trying to rewrite Afghanistan as being Obama's War (even though it started in 2001) is just more evidence that nobody should take their words seriously. Historically incorrect, journalistically dishonest, and blindly hypocritical. Fuck Faux.

FACT: the TelePrompTer was invented in the 1950's, and has been used extensively by all Presidents since the early 1960's. How has Obama's use of the TelePrompTer become any sort of "issue" at all? I guess you've never seen Obama at press conferences, town hall meetings or the multiple debates he was in during the election. All were unscripted. And the conventionalwisdom and polls showed that he won all the debates.
