Ibuprofen and hair loss

    I found out that Ibuprofen will cuses hair loss and will stop taking
    Ibuprofen to see if will have more hair.

    Side Effects

    Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

    • Acid or sour stomach
    • Belching
    • Bloating
    • Cloudy urine
    • Decrease in amount of urine
    • Decrease in urine output or decrease in urine-concentrating ability
    • Diarrhea
    • Difficulty having a bowel movement (stool)
    • Excess air or gas in stomach or intestines
    • Full feeling
    • Heartburn
    • Indigestion
    • Itching skin
    • Pain or discomfort in chest, upper stomach, or throat
    • Pale skin
    • Passing gas
    • Nausea
    • Noisy, rattling breathing
    • Rash with flat lesions or small raised lesions on the skin
    • Shortness of breath
    • Swelling of face, fingers, hands, feet, lower legs, or ankles
    • Troubled breathing at rest
    • Troubled breathing with exertion
    • Unusual bleeding or bruising
    • Unusual tiredness or weakness
    • Vomiting
    • Weight gain

    :mad::mad::mad: I was taking ibuprofen everyday for years and had a lot hair loss after I stop taking ibuprofen 2 mouths ago most of my hair grow back. I did not think ibuprofen will couse Hair loss :mad:

    I will never take ibuprofen ever again!!!!!

    I merged this with your first thread on the subject. I have a thick head of hair. I've never taken ibuprofen products. I swear by Extra Strength Excedrin.

    Hair that you'd previously lost, "grew back"? This seems like a medical miracle. If true.

    I assumed it to be similar to people who loose their hair during chemo therapy and it growing back once they have completed taking it.:dunno:

    Been taking Ibuoprofen for many years, and suffered no real hair loss, other than a small bit of thinning at the front, due to age.

    Take Ibuprofen instead of Paracetamol (altho not copiously, lol). No problem with hair loss - goin grey tho. ;)
