Get over it. Commonly used tag here in the UK.

Bugger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sure. And dirty, disgusting, ungodly, abbhorent and some of the other things you say about gays have different meanings in the UK too.

For research purposes only; find a gay leather biker bar. Drink several pints. Then find a microphone and give the crowd there a vocabuary lesson, OK?

Please bring someone to film the results.

Craig has been trolling public restrooms for 25 years, but he is so far in the closet that he can't admit he is gay, even to himself.
Still doesn't make him necessarily "gay." He could be "bi," couldn't he? Doesn't excuse his hypocrisy, but we don't make it easy for people to be somewhere in the middle.

There has to be something unique about that bath-room that makes it so popular. In one of the earliest press releases about him being arrested, they said he made certain hand gestures - but then that was never mentioned again. I'm wondering whether or not there was a glory hole in that bath-room and the media just isn't ready to "expose" that part of the story. Something still smells about all this. I think they should let him alone. He was just trying to get a little nibble. LOL

Yes, he "could" be bi, but I think it's unlikely. Years ago when rumors started about Craig and Congressional Pages, he quickly found a "beard," and they got married. His "children" are the wife's from her previous marriage.

One thing you can say about Craig...he has never been accused of cheating on his wife by going out with other WOMEN. LOL

I would like to know whether Anderson Cooper, who's show was from New Orleans last night, was previously scheduled for a vacation, or whether it was a last minute substitution because of this story.

Funny I thought the same thing.

Not just Craig!

A couple of weeks ago a congressman (I think) who accused Bill Clinton of not being fit to govern the USA during his Lewinsky period was named as a frequent visitor to a certain whorehouse in New Orleans.

The women there actually spoke highly of him!

I have to give our former president kudos. No matter how many people say he is unfit or judge him on his private life, he never has condemned anyone for their private life and still smiles through it all and does what he has to do for the better of his fellow man.

THAT is a brave man.

I'll do that if you cut your throat open and film the results?

Let's stop the stupid posts now please and get back on topic.

You are a gay-basher. Admitting it like you just did is the first step.

You might have a look at your misogyny too while you're at it

You wouldn't need to call people stupid if you had something intelligent to say. You use that comeback a lot.

And I would appreciate it if you would refrain from talking about slitting my throat. You are way over the line here.

Poor schmuck. Any gay guy who has ever trolled in restrooms like he did immediately knew the scenario and knew he was lying. This stuff has been going on for decades at university restrooms, public places, etc. Then, he's of a generation where being gay was not something ever mentioned in public, and usually hidden from others. And many of them got married not to hide it, but because being was married expected in middle America in the era he grew up in. Add to that coming from a state that is at least 50% conservative Mormon (he's not) and you've got a guy trapped and he doesn't know what to do. I actually feel sorry for him, and not mad at him. Is he a hypocrite? Yes, but don't let your unreasonable hatred of republicans take over for genuine thought. The demoncrats have plenty of bad apples in their tent, too.

All true enough. The maddening thing, the thing most of these posts decry, is the hypocrisy you mention. Did you see the clip of him on Meet the Press during the Clinton impeachment hearings...calling the president a dirty, nasty boy? It's that pious, holier than thou attitude that makes this man totally despicable. The country is lucky to have him removed from the decision making process. And, you're right...the dems are no better. It's just that they are not hypocrites on the issue of gay rights. They have their own baggage...like their hypocrisy on the handling of the war and their lack of political will. Their headlines aren't as juicy...their sins may be worse.

OK, this thread is going on a tangent and to sum that tangent up, it boils down to this:

This isn't about conservative or liberal. It isn't about Democrat or Republican. What it boils down to is hypocrisy and morals.

yeah, Clinton had his fair share of lying and he is taking his knocks. Several republicans have as well. I can't remember who, but a republican senator came out about being gay. We are human and we all do stupid things from time to time. Difference is we are not under public scrutiny like they all are. Indiscretion crosses party lines and the last word on how this is:

Let he who hath no guilt cast the first stone.

How about you get of your fucking period and stop jumping down my throat for something you think is gay bashing. Get your fucking facts straight and stop making yourself look like an idiot. Calling someone a bugger isn't gay bashing, as much as you love to think it is. Over the line? I don't give a shit.

I disagree with you. Craig is only barely human, and has hypocritical needs and no feelings at all whatsoever. I do NOT feel sorry for him, and I hope he gets sevenfold everything oppressive he has inflicted on others.

All Humans are hypocritical in one shape or form, you cannot hold that against him.
If he is hypocritical in his legislation, I absolutely can hold that against him. It isn't the scandalous position in which he was caught that bothers me, frizzle. It's the fact that he's been one of the most vocal anti-gay legislators in a long, long time, then does the very things he has worked so hard against.

I work very very hard at not being hypocritical. I don't understand why anyone else can't do the same.
