Well, that's the last of Megan. She certainly wore out her welcome with me. And what was with the bird squauking and arm flapping tonight?

Yeah I thought she started out well in the competition but then she went straight up loco. Looked like she was all hocked up on qualudes or something. Maybe she'll go into porn and take the throne from Jenna?

Not really sure but the others were doing it from the safe chairs too. I find it strange that she goes home the day after her brother had words with Kara. Can you believe Kara actually went up to them in the audience and spoke to them, she should have stayed in her chair and ignored them like Simon does so fondly. Neal Patrick Harris was there, I bet he had a date with Ryan, news said they were together at one point in the evening. I'd watch that they threw in Kris and Matt.

Well, tonight I figure that Lil will go home but I think it should be Scott. Kris was a bit disapointing but Adam I have to say was great. Anoop some where in between.

I'm not sure how safe Lil is or how big of a following she has but I don't care for her, but still, Scott or Anoop tonight.

There is something I like about Anoop but I don't really know if he has enough "it" to be a start. I'm hoping that it will be Scott but I have a feeling a lot of people vote for him because they think he deserves a break because he's blind.

Certainly agree that Scott and Lil gave the poorest performances last night. Scott should be at the end of the road. Paula said it best last night when she referred to Scott as a musician, songwriter and singer. His forte is as a musician/writer, not a singer. You just never know, though, it's all about the fan base--as Simon and Randy explained to Allison (who is in my opinion a phenomenal performer). No matter how talented you are, if you don't get the votes--you get the boot.

If, by chance, either Lil or Allison are at the bottom of the heap, I expect the judges to use their veto.

Let's face it, the girl that sang Papa Was A Rolling Stone a few weeks ago will prob win. The guy (Adam?) w/the combover is just too precious. Anoop has one good speed and the blind guy just isn't that good and probably even boring. The rest are ehhhh.
PS Flo-Rida was really annoying. You could barely understand what he was singing except the chorus.

if you close your eyes to keep your horny hormones from interfering, then the top three are clearly Danny, Alison, and Lil.

Of course, none of them will win because this isn't a singing competition at all. it's a teenage girl/horny gay man competition. If the gays win, it's Adam, if the teenage girls win, it's Adam. This year is so predictable.

I changed channels last night when he came on (just as I did a week or so ago when "Lady GaGa" performed.)

I don't care for either of them and think American Idol is hitting the bottom. I'll be glad when this season is over. Just my opinion.

Yes I notice a bit of canned screaming after his act. What a bunch of crap that was. Did you ever notice how the judges leave and come back after some performances. They remained at front stage for Kelly Pickler though.

Does anyone know how they get there pants for fall down just enough to show there fat ass but manage to keep them from falling the rest of the way down.

Well, I was certainly glad that Scott went home last night. He may have a career in music but I don't think it will be on the stage. Not terrible by any means, but just not a star.

I caught this song awhile back on CSI (I think)...and was fascinated by it...so looked up the credit and found it. I have to say, as someone who has not watched AI for years, nor really followed it (okay in the last 3 weeks, just to be 'up' on what people are talking about)...

This kid nailed it. Wow. Brilliant, he took the 'alternative version' but Gary Jules and tweaked enough to make it one-of-a-kind. The staging was very well done...To bad the ryan/paula/simon bickering made the show run long...c'mon, its about the music-right?

I might actualy start watching AI just to follow this singer.

Briliant.

And yet they ran nearly 5 minutes of comercials while they were running late, and still had time to show everyones recap. Makes no sense to me at all. I wonder if Simon actually had the time to critique his performance if he still would have given him the standing ovation. It was strange because Ryan usually keeps things on schedule. I think they could do without the baby pictures and the incessant family trivia as well as the singer at the beginning of the show. Did anyone else notice Mario was in the audience, woo hoo!!!

did anybody else notice that they had the freaky bald headed guy that was later on fringe in the audience too?

i'm really getting tired of the cross promotion and obnoxious product placements in tv shows.

Tell me about it, did you see New Adventures of Old Christine and the "is that Real Mayonnaise", then 2 Helmans commercials to follow.
