We seem to be dealing with two issues here: 1. Circumcision 'just because'. 2. Rejecting a potential partner who is intact.

After a phimosis experience, I am just not a fan of the intact penis. Even a healthy one which can be kept clean and has no medical issues. In the USA, circumcisions are often done at birth. Additionally, I prefer the look with the head always exposed.

Only once did I have to tactfully turn a man down for sex due to him being intact. And I can certainly understand mens' frustrations in this thread with regards to my not liking a natural body part.

Evilluvsme mentioned one possible solution to phimosis whereby the foreskin is being stretched and actually had some success with this. I then researched this issue online.

I'm not frustrated about your personal taste. It's your taste and I have nothing to say about that. I respect that.
I just wanted to make clear that those tree things are not forced to be related (personal higiene, circumcition and phirmosis). that's all.

It's not frustrating. I doubt anybody who has commented really cares much about who you will or will not sleep with. But it is worth pointing out that the link that you're drawing between one particular previous partner who had an unpleasant medical condition, and every other intact man out there, is massively irrational.

Honestly, I really think I have a phobia of foreskin (but I didn't before having an experience with phimosis). For the past several years, I've been turning more and more germ phobic. Also really like the look of the head always exposed.

Personally, I really wish women would ask, because when I lived in America, I did get brushed off based on the mere assumption I might be uncircumcised on more than one occasion, due to my accent. They probably figured "don't even bother, he's a Euro".

Being cut/uncut should never be a deal breaker, unless the uncut guy has severe phimosis or other related issues. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and preferences and choosing cut over uncut is fine if that is what you like. Dumping a guy you like just because of his foreskik really isn't, though. 1.) Me neither. Whoever rejects a normal functional and functioning component of male sexual anatomy should definitely look elsewhere for sexual satisfaction.

Plus some women prefer and seek out intact men. If some women have a preference for cut men, there's plenty of them to be 'had'.

I noticed that, leaving the foreskin (always) retracted, the glans no longer gives off such an unpleasant odor as it did before. Of course, you must in any case take care of the hygiene and wash it anyway. However, I realized that it "smells" much less and stays clean for longer.

Never saw it as a dealbreaker. Most girls I've been with never had a guy who was circumcised before me, but never had any complaints. It's often more cleaner, but depends on your own hygiene.
