Yeah, yeah... I am kinda chubby. I am 5'10" and about 230 pounds. I have about a 38 or 40 inch waist.

If I lost weight and got down to 180 or less, I am wondering if I would look huge then.

What say you?

I'm no cock-ologist, but I've heard every 20 lbs is worth a half inch.

And a half inch isn't an insignificant amount considering percentages, etc, etc.

i'm a pre-med student focused on plastic surgery. the professor in one class told us that men can expect to gain 1" per 30 lbs lost. of course there is a limit to how many inches you can gain based upon your body build and other factors... so if you went down to 180lbs, you could ESTIMATE a gain of up to 2"...

Well... let's see how much weight I'd have to lose... hmmm so if one gains 1" for every 30lbs lost... I'm pretty overweight... if I got down to 160lbs... that's 7 added inches! What a motivation to lose weight if ever!

I've heard this ratio before too, but I think it's assuming too much.

I could see that a dramatic weight loss, resulting in the complete or nearly complete elimination of the fat pad could increase your penetrational (made up word) length slightly. But it's hard to say.

The only way to find out is for those who are overweight to lose the weight, and keep track of progress from start to finish.

I should do this, I could stand to lose 60 pounds. I don't for a second think that will give me another 2 inches though. Maybe 3/4"-1" at the most, even that is probably optimistic.

you already got a beast... id keep it how it is

Many thanks, and keep on track for your desired career, it's only going to become more in demand (as I'm sure you are already aware).

Anyway, extra length would be but an ancillary benefit; those Italian chicks won't let me help out their underpopulation with the extra lbs.

^^^ Well, don't keep me in suspense. What is this new career all about?

About my penis length.... I don't like to throw any numbers around... I would guess that it is average for length and above average for girth.

But, still I am within one standard deviation. Hence, the screenname, since Mr. Average was already taken.

I would swear, though, that when I was younger at about 18 my cock was way closer to 8 inches . I am 36 now.

I wish it were like that now.... then you wouldn't have to be sitting there reading me whine about how fat I am.

Yeah, I have heard the 30 pounds gains you an inch thing before. Even the doctor that comes on Oprah's show said it. You should have heard all the women in her audience ooohhhh'ing and ahhhh'ing when they heard that.

I probably am being too hard on myself. I see a lot of these scrawny guys on here and in porn in general and they look huge.

I will have my 20 year class reunion in 2010, I think. So that is something to shoot for, to look really really good and have these women lust after me.

That would be quite the ego boost.

Go for it man. I'm thinking the same, only shorter term (college homecoming) But, that it's over a year away is healthy, and you can make a huge change (NPI) in that amount of time.

Good luck.

I heard it was 40pounds per inch but like someone else said there are limits, when I lay down with an erection and push in to my fat pad I can see a difference in penis size, I'm hoping my dick will look that way all the time (or bigger :)) once I lose my extra weight.

I made a similar post about this the other day, I talked with a couple of friends of mine who range from bodybuilders to regular slim guys. I asked them when they push in their pubic area does their dick look any bigger and they said no. So I imagine if you could lose enough weight to get rid of the pubic fat whatever is hidden now will "appear" once you are slimmer. As for X amount of weight = Y amount of inches I highly doubt that. Everyone's fat is distributed differently. I'm 6'1" and about 230, my dick is about 6" but if I press into the fat its about 6.75". Losing weight will definitely help expose more though and is worth doing for many reasons.

Well i'm 6'2 bout 6'3 and i weighed in at 293lbs in the beginning of 2007..since then i have lost 59lbs right now i weigh in at 242lbs..before i lost the weight i was approximately 8x5 uncut 5.5 flaccid..now i am 8.5 a lil closer to 9 x 6'5 and flaccid i am 6.5..so i do believe in the 30lbs to inch gain..i have a few co-workers..(Doctors) and it is true..My goal now is to drop 40lbs not for gains but for my own health and well being..so if ur gonan do the weigh loss do it for health rerasons not for penis gains..the penis gains are part of the prize for doing a good job for u. Remember that

My trainer at the gym told me that losing weight will make my penis appear bigger. He didn't get specific as to the pound/inch ratio, but he knew that would motivate me to lose weight, and I have started to do just that.

We'll see. New photos when I'm down to 180!

A great deal of the size change will depend on your personal weight distribution. If the greatest concentration of your weight is carried in your abdominal area a weight loss may have the exact opposite effect. What happens is that as the fat goes away, the skin begins to sag and two things happen. The first is that a pouch of loose skin forms right above the groin. This sags down and again takes away usable length. If the concentration in the abdominal area is substantial enough, the next thing that happens is the formation of what is called an "apron" which is a flap of skin that can if large enough in some men cover the entire penile area. Based on your size and weight a severe problem is unlikely.

Losing weight and maintaining your health is great and someting you need to do.

This is not magic and people who have unrealistic expectations fail because when the weight goes away they are faced with equal and sometimes different challenges.

The weight loss commercials where a 5'2" 330 pound woman loses weight and manages to get down to 120 pounds is great. The problem is that there is one fact that is being covered up and one lie being perpitrated. She is, after that weight loss not going to be a size 4 without the intervention of a cosmetic surgeon. The loose skin will have to be surgically removed and everything lifted up and tucked for that dress size to be possible.

Men are no different. I know a fellow well that had been over 320 pounds at one time. He went to the gym and he worked very hard. In a gym shower however it was a different story. While he looked decent in clothing, the sight out of clothing was not good with many of his body parts hanging in ways to be less than complementary.

The man was smart, he lost weight and his health returned to him. It was not magic however and to restore his appearance totally the only way was going to be a series of cosmetic procedures.
