Likewise. I check in frequently throughout the day and just because I'm here doesn't necessarily mean I have time to chit-chat. I don't want that to be misconstrued as rudeness on my part. I do respond to all reasonably sensible (my discretion!) PMs, it may just take me awhile. Sometimes I just like to be alone with the threads, the gallery and my thoughts. :smile:

Yes, really on the IM sites. I made the mistake of giving out my Yahoo MSN info, and now I can't go on there without someone immediately asking if they can show me their cock. I don't even know who 3/4 of my IM contacts are. Actually, never use IM anymore because I made a hash of it. I need to start over with a new address etc. So yeah, sleath mode is my friend.

I did it for a while some time ago to avoid being bothered by pesky PM's, but now I don't give a fart in the wind...
My take is that most people who hide their online status are doing so because they're on this forum way too many hours a day and they're self-conscious about others realizing it.
