In my own situation, I'm cut, my father isn't, but he's never mentioned it and I've always been too embarrassed to bring it up.

We are an immigrant family but my younger brother, who was born in the US, was circumcised. My dad had it done as an adult after we had been living in the US for a few years. The only time it was discussed was when we had the sex talk. He just explained what circumcision is and that was is. I have no idea why he had it done.

I was not going to pressure them... that is why we let them decide... the 2 of them were a year apart and they had it done at the same time by the same doctor in the same hospital... to this day they say they never regretted... both of them have girls so they never had to decide... for their kids as of yet.
