Ignorant of size

So I'm wondering whether my experience was the norm or the exception here:

First of all, where I grew up you didn't really have people openly comparing or anything and there certainly weren't public showers in the schools.

So the only comparisons I ever saw were porno. And I thought I was below average to average at best until I finally got laid in college. She kept telling me how big it was and I thought she was just, yknow, making shit up. Until she told me I had at least an inch or two on any other guy she'd ever been with.

Anybody else have NO IDEA they were big until they were in their early 20s?

When I was growing up the was no internet, so for both bad and good I did not know. The only comparison I had was with my older brother. Being older of course he had started changing years before me. When I walked in on him JO I had that disproportioned image of him for the rest of my years growing up and I always felt small by comparison. When I married as a virigin we neither knew or realized the difference. Now however, after 13 years of marriage and lots of tears patience and understanding we know that I am big and I am the reason for the troubles we have had.

Nope. It's funny, but I didn't really know until my early 20s. We were very careful not to look in P.E. class, and I thought the first few girls were just flattering me.
