He is a very good looking man. But i'm surprised that he is living in an homophobic country like indonesia. He even praise this country. Which doesnt make sense. Since he is gay. He must have some good opportunities there. Because indonesia is one of the most homophobic country in asia. I dont get these gay men who choose to go live in homophobic countries. Even for good opportunties with their work. Its not worth it. You would expect him to go in europe.

He lives in Bali Indonesia which is the only province where the majority of the population are Hindu and also the most progressive, tolerant and liberal place of all Indonesia. There are many LGBTQ+ people living there and Bali also have several gay bar. Just because Indonesia is a Muslim majority country doesnt meant all the people there are homophobic. The attitude towards LGBTQ+ people here vary, rangking from tolerant to extremely introlerant.

Yup. Indonesia has different LGBT tolerance level on each province. The most intolerant province are Aceh and West Sumatera (both also have bad track record on human rights, not only on LGBT rights, but the entire human rights). Bali, Jakarta (the capital), Yogyakarta, and eastern provinces are kinda tolerant to LGBT people.

Overall, Indonesia is better at human rights compared to Russia and Middle East states.
