Was lazy today and had about 3 loads of laundry that needed done. Just was not feeling it at all. Figured it would take me 3-4 hours to get it all finished.
By the time that was done, I would not have the energy to cook a big pot of chicken and noodles, for tonight and lunches at work next week. (I like left-overs) So I had to make a choice. Eating out on the cheap normally runs $10.00 per meal. Plus I had already bought a cooked chicken from Sam's Club yesterday.
So I decided to try the "wash and fold" local joint. Never go there except to wash large blankets and such. Guessed it would cost me $25-30 and would never do it again. The young gal (who happens to play flute with my Granddaughter in a band) says it will be done in 2 1/2 hours for pickup.
The bill was $11.00 plus .75 in tax. $11.75 total for my weeks clothes and bedding! I flipped her $15.00 and said thanks, see you next weekend! Had no idea it would be that inexpensive.
Anyone needing a used washing machine and dryer? LOL
