I can't quote the source for you unfortunately, but I remember reading an article about the percentage split of preference to opposite/same sex when it came to sexual activity somewhere (as opposed to attraction), and it came out with three categories:

Opposite sex was like 85/87%
Same sex was like 10/12%

The one that interested me was:

Not interested in sex 2/3%

It meant that a small number of the population were simply not interested in a partner when it came to sex, didnt mean they didnt like to masterbate or check out porn etc... just that they enjoyed it most to themselves.
