I got a call from Social Security today about my disability appeal. I got approved!!!!!!! Maybe live will be a little easier now and a lot less stressful and I can concentrate on getting well instead of being stressed out!

I am so happy for you and your son! This has been a very long time coming and is well deserved!
I have no doubt this will make healing and treatment much easier. Since I have a similar disorder I know that stress aggravates your condition.
thank you everyone for your kind words. Yes it is a big relief for me. Now once the other part of disability is approved I will finally be able to move out on my own!
nj, if all possible don't go back to work. Your condition is not stable either. Get yourself a lawyer and file for another appeal before your time runs out. If you take it to court you have a much better shot getting it approved.
I'm guessing the note from my doctor was damning enough along with the pathetic scores on my balance testing. I'd be happy to give you the name of my doc and a place to stay if you ever come to IL.
