Oh my... seems as if the articulate negro pissed off Mr. Steroid again.

First off, bigot, do you have any proof that Obama told the DOJ to call this investigation off or are you pulling that out of your ass? Secondly, since when are we supposed to govern our nation based on unfounded suspicions and phobias? Nobody was afraid to go into the building... the video that was captured for evidence shows many of folks going in and out of the building without incident. It has the voice of someone present saying that they were not stopping anyone. The person capturing the video made it clear in both videos, through his bantering, that he was concerned that a "black man holding a nightstick" may come off as being intimidating. His paranoia doesn't constitute as voter intimidation, no matter how many times you drop the F-Bomb at me. Which, BTW, if you want the Ebonic derivative you spell with an "I" instead of an "E". It's fuckin', as in "fuckin' idiot"... you know, one of my several pet name for you. But that's a whole different discussion.

I obviously seen and heard more in those videos than you have. Plus, Pennsylvanian Law regarding weapons are on my side. So, are you going to argue the facts or do you want to continue exposing yourself as a racist bigot that's all muscle substance with no cranial sustenance? Your choice.

If thats what you think than bigot I am. Your opinion means nothing to me. You can't have it both ways. They knew exactly what they were trying to achieve there. You know it I know I and and so does everyone else. That was no different then if it were a couple skin heads. You ought to take some grammar lessons yourself (I obviously seen... I've obviously seen). Whether it's an illegal weapon or not makes no difference their intent was the same. Security my ass.

That's something we can agree on.

Your opinion means nothing to me.

Which is why you responded back to my opinion, right?
You can cut the BS now.

You can't have it both ways.

I'm not having it both ways. I'm telling you, based on FACT and not through your own preconceived prejudices what is going on. You're just mad that the result doesn't end in the defending of your own bigoted ignorance.

They knew exactly what they were trying to achieve there. You know it I know I and and so does everyone else. That was no different then if it were a couple skin heads. Blah, blah, blah. Go lick your wounds in private and not in the front of people who wouldn't give a f*** if you died tomorrow. There is no evidence of voter intimidation in those videos and you know it. That is why those two black men are not in prison now, and why you're just a bitter son of a bitch who hates it when others don't see it your way. Next time, don't bring your glaringly racist ideologies to a debate regarding the facts... or at least make it more difficult for me to skewer your ass.

Ahem... is this really necessary?

There's no need to go there. Just remind him that his brand of rhetoric might cut it with a small segment of the population today, but in a few years, it's not going to cut it with anybody... Thus, it would be wise for folks with such an antiquated mindset to think about what it will mean in the future if they burn bridges with most people today... Espousing ethnically/racially motivated bigotry isn't the sort of thing that people ever forget as long as they live.

The whole 'angry old white men' movement reminds me of a cousin of mine who is several years older than me, but was always small for his age... When we were kids, my cousin Greg was 10 when I was 6, but because he was small and I was big, we were almost the same size (I was also abnormally advanced scholastically, while he flunked a grade). He used to pick on me rather severely for being 'nerdy' (plus I was too young to know sports yet) until one day, my mom caught him picking on me, and punished him with a timeout. While he was in timeout, she talked to him and made him think about what his actions would mean in the future... She asked him, who is bigger and stronger, your dad or his dad? (mine was waaaay bigger). Then, who is bigger and stronger, your mom or his mom (mine was much taller, and was a cop and in the military and thus rather intimidating for a woman)... Then she was like, so who do you think is going to be bigger and stronger when you grow up, you or him? Then she said something like, if you pick on him, he's never going to forget it and one day, when he grows up, he's going to decide it's time to pick on YOU, but he will be so big and strong, you won't be able to stop him, and neither will anybody else. Once reality sunk in, my cousin Greg never picked on me like that ever again.

This is what the rightwingers are doing to themselves today... if this keeps up, in a few years when 'angry old white men' are severely outnumbered, they're going to find themselves regretting their actions of today in a big way.

Perhaps it was a little rough. Then again, I've never been the one to treat a blatant racist with any level of kindness or respect. IMO, there is a point where engaging people in PC talk does nothing. This isn't the first time, nor is Big_E the first person who brought up this issue and the comments are all the same. What's worse is how they try to write it off as some kind of government conspiracy, as if anyone in congress is really concerned with two black men standing in front of a building with nightsticks.

It's 2010, and this board is supposed to be composed of adults. Regardless of the choice of words people make (because I don't really care if someone decides to type like a Rhodes Scholar or a Middle School Reject), there should be a basic understanding of what is ethically right and wrong displayed here. We all know that discriminating against people based on appearance is wrong, so I find these gripes that "the e" composes to be an insult to any rational thinker's intelligence.

You're absolutely right except that were not all old or small. Last time I checked we are still the majority, and our way of life and beliefs are shared by all races. We opend the door invited the world in, but we'll be damed if we are going to hand them the key and our pocket books.

There is nothing better to fight to the death for. Why live if your way of life is lost? You bring your night stick Vynl Boy and I'll bring my AK-47 and we'll dance at the tea party.

Actually, I wouldn't be there with anything because I know it's pointless to get into a physical altercation with someone who displays no glimpse of cerebral synergy. If you want to cause physical abuse to someone who disagrees with you just to protect your right to be greedy and/or bigoted, then go right on ahead and do it. Find another radical nut job and start shooting & swinging at each other. I'll be here watching from the sidelines, feeling a bit happier that the gene pool is slowly being cleansed of the socially deficient chromosomes.

And you're right... you are part of the majority. Clearly, there are more stupid people in America than smart ones.

Still the majority??? Umm, no, you're not even remotely close to the majority, which probably explains why you guys got your ass kicked in the last two elections, even though the True Believers™ swore up and down that they had both elections in the bag.

As we already know, conservatives aren't exactly known for being 'in touch' with society, which is part of how they become conservatives in the first place. They can't keep up with the rest of us.

The 18 percent of Americans who identify themselves as Tea Party supporters tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/15/us/politics/15poll.html

And the most recent Gallup poll shows that Republican party affiliation continues to wallow, and now stands at just 26% of all voters...
http://www.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx

Gallup's most recent Party ID map shows just 5 states are decidedly 'Republican'... The total population of those 5 states is a minuscule 5.6 million residents, which isn't even 2% of the national population.

When he said "we", he meant WASP, not Republican, baby.

^There are lots of WASPs who aren't conservatives. He's specifically referring to the ones who can't cope with the reality of the world around them anymore.

This thread and the "What if the Tea Partiers were black?" thread go so well together. Thank you, Big_E for unwittingly and concurrently proving the author's point that prejudiced white people are afraid of black people with a baton, nevermind a gun.

"Imagine if the Teaparty WERE Black" I think is the proper phrasing Industrial - subjunctive clause - too bad the US schools are such shit!!! (born and raised in the US, only learned about the subjunctive clause when I learned French, BTW)

No, I dont think that's correct. Tea Party is being referred to as a singular monolithic thing. If he had said "....Tea Partiers...", then "were" would be correct.
