I found a public folder with a lot of porn to download, for the sake of curiosity downloaded a few and went back in time with memories when, as a teen, porn meant being brave enough to buy a magazine at the newsstand pretending being 18, then VHS and wait for parents to be away long enough not to hit you then satellite TV and when the challenge was to add more channels on your CAM...

Satellite TV time I had a stable relationship and somehow convinced my partner to watch movies together and to try and imitate, as a man I loved to see those great bodies and all the performances, dunno what was her idea back then and can't ask as that date is well over but she sure tried her best to make me happy by emulating what women did on movies, on the other hand I thought and still think "what if they expect then men to be all fit, hung and nasty as pornstars?"

My partner did whatever we saw on movie and even allowed to film ourselves, to some extent also the first attempts at what now would be Cam4 or Chaturbate, I am sure she did it all to please me and, in small percentage, cause she got involved but, on the others side, what if she would have want to do some things which I would have not personally liked or, inverted part, she would have want to? Snowballing (is that called like that?) or kissing after cumshot to name one, yes, one of my fetishes was to cum over her face and she not just allowed but liked it but once excitement over for me I didn't want to kiss her and I could go over and over with many examples.

My partner at the time had normal sized boobs and I got, and still have, a fetish for big tits, I think that I stressed it to the point where she started to think about getting them enlarged as we spoke about it and not feel insecure about hers but sure not feeling up to the task, I now blame myself for talking too much about my fetishes...

On one hand watching porn sure added spice to sex but on the other, at least for me, expectations were exaggerated and I consider myself luck having met a few who satisfied them but, still, I hope women who watch porn don't expect men to be and do what male pornstars look and do :D

You haven't done much reading in the Woman specific areas of the site, have ya?

I watch porn. I have for a long time. I never at any point *expected* sex in my personal life to be else I saw on screen. Most porn, the VAST majority of porn flicks are directed by men to please men. What you see is what men typically want to see. So even if women did consume porn the way you do in general there's a good chance she'd be enjoying the entire scene, not specific body parts of the actors.

There's a very good chance you'd be shocked at how much I as a woman don't focus on the penis when I'm watching porn. It's *you guys* who lazer-in on the shaft like that and compare it to yours.

Oh, and I don't expect men to act like the selfish idiots in porn either.

Don't rub my clit like you're trying to peel paint off an old wall, don't chew on it, don't shove your fingers in my mouth, and I swear to fucking god if a fucker ever spit in my face that's the day he'd be involuntarily sterilized.

Again.. porn is mostly directed by and for men.

Oh well, I obviously know who porn is made of and that, at the end of the day, it's fiction but as a matter of fact, especially in the old times when to watch something it took quite an effort at finding a VHS and make sure nobody was around, it was a kind of "documentary" or "instructional" kind of stuff.

When with my partner we moved together I have to admit we have been watching porn when it was possible to hack sat cards, I had seen it before but for her they were first times, I was afraid she could think that those kind of "performances" and "tools" were average (she had not many sexual partners before and living in a small place didn't help the "experience" bit) but I gotta say it helped spice it all up and what we have been trying has always been in total mutual respect.

The equivalent to the male consumption of porn(and potential for misinfo) is the female consumption of romantic media, as both genres provide similar opportunities for one gender to form unrealistic expectations of the other.

Read A Billion Wicked Thoughts. It's a sex study which explores female/male differences.

In a nutshell men consume porn predominantly and women consume romance novels/movies predominantly.

I wouldn't expect the heirs of family fortunes to get much use out of lottery fantasies either...lol
I credit porn for a lot of desensitized exposure to the nude female form, that my looks and charm weren't sufficient to provide me during my younger yes.
Though I understand OPs ponderances as to what would happen if women consumed porn like men, I don't think it gives credit to the large portion of men that do so healthily and without unrealistic expectations.

I understand it too, just not from the same perspective.

I have to wonder how many actually don't have expectations from the material they consume while fappin'. But that's just my mind being curious and applying assumptions from my personal bias to the equation. So I suppose that's a good and interesting point. I'm gonna be annoying and use my fella as an example again. He watches porn. Quite a bit. He has for a very long time. He doesn't treat me the way the actors treat women in the videos he watches. We've drawn inspiration from porn together, but I can confidently say he didn't learn his 'technique' by watching it.

The industry itself is still toxic as fuck and I don't think enough consumers care enough, but I never stopped to think about that point Sagittarius. If a majority of men were being noticably impacted by porn consumption I definitely wouldn't have had sex with as many as I have, and the quality would have been dramatically less in most cases.

This is why I find myself reinteracting with you. Sometimes we disagree pretty fucking strongly, but sometimes you make me think in a way I never would have. I fuck with that.

Softcore bores the hell out of me. I skip around a lot with porn to get to the actual fucking. I do not care about their faces. I usually end up muting it too, because the sounds are often so fake. No matter the genders involved, I get off on seeing the penetration. If they have nice bodies, seeing more than a close up of their genitals and toys is good. Otherwise, that's the bit I care about. I am apparently not that typical for women with how I watch porn. Whatever gets you off, I don't care (within legal n consensual etc limits).

I have always been the more adventurous one compared to the folks I have been intimate with. Always the one with the higher sex drive too. More open about kinks n shit as well. Most of the people I've had sex with identified as male. So. Whatever.

I have no idea who gets off on crap like that. The guys making the porn are (to me) degenerates who are totally out of touch with average people. Most professional porn is repetitious and BORING. Most start with a blowjob and end with the guy wanking himself off into a woman's face. That does NOTHING for me.

With most things in life, body language speaks louder than all. I can't help but watch the extremities, the hands, feet, those things which are subconscious indications of fake or not..I find animation is more exciting than real life porn at times. Why? It comes from an artists mind, that for me is the turn on, where thoughts of fantasy roam. There is the good, the bad, the way out there :), something about being totally open when it is a drawn image, it comes from within where desire dwells, like it does with most of us.

It is odd that animation is a genre like romance novels where the interactions can be idealized, and body standards and expectations can be completely sidestepped, yet women only seem to gravitate towards it when it depicts men in homoerotic situations. It seems like body diverse/positive animated porn would be the venue by which women would essentially consume porn like men...
There seems to be something inherent about the visual aspect of porn that turns women off to it, even when given the opportunity to frame it to their own devices.

It's when one reads a book. The author describes the scene, actions.... characters to detail. But ask a reader what they envisioned after reading a chapter, guaranteed, not one version will be the same as what you envisioned, or the next reader. I place it down to human emotion upon the reading, emotion can change a readers perspective and reality of the imagined .......if that makes sense :) Much like art, everyone can draw in their mind, placing it on paper is another dimension which can be added or subtracted from to suit individual desire.

It's not until you see a movie, that imagination is replaced by anothers imagination. Why I think computer games can become addictive, because human imagination ads to the experience...yadda yadda :)
