Restless Leg Syndrome is also a real syndrome.

I think many of these syndromes are marketing gimmicks created by pull pushers. They are the drug industry's equivalent to bosses day. I think most of these syndromes have non drug "treatments" and "cures" that run along the line of MOVE, GET OUT OF THE HOUSE, DO SOMETHING.

Tight Ass Syndrome has a cure that I'm reportedly very good at administering. :biggrin1:

can I get some of that fix then??

I've heard some informal advice that people in their mid-30s should have a "hormone" panel taken during their annual check-ups. This will be used as a baseline. With each successive year, the hormone test can be taken again and compared against the baseline. When there's a significant deviation, physicians can help to compensate for a loss or over-production of a particular teyp of hormone.

you have a 10 inch cock! how low can your testosterone be?? :)

I seriously doubt there is a link between cock size and testosterone level... however testosterone and sex-drive are supposedly highly linked.

I remember on an episode of "This American Life" there was a program about unintended results of group activities. The segment was about the bruised egos, hurt feelings, and office politics that resulted from testosterone level testing (it started as part of another story). I won't get into the specifics of the individual's results, but what this group found was that testosterone levels had little to do with masculinity, sexual preference, or even gender. The test group was small, so it is possible that their results do not correspond to the larger population, but it does show how individual these results are.

Are you taking appointments for administering this cure?

Ok that sounds like a very real condition. i would say the bad moods come from a fluctyation in your hormone levels, a drop then a rise then a drop. I would ask your doctor if u could take some sort of hormone replacment, or ask him what he knows about leutinizing hormone(LH) that is a precursior to testosterone, and regular doses could even things out.

Like i asaid some sort or horomone theopy would be the best cure for something like this in my opinion. You may have more balanced levels of hormones by trying some weight training, and mabye changing your diet to more healthier. These all have HUGE effects on hormone out put, and utilization.

Just for refrences on what i have said, i am studying to be a dietecian in college at the moment, so i would not lie to you sir. I hope the information i have supplied helps u in some way, or at least leads u in the right direction for more questions u can ask your doctor.

I think what endofsummer said was very smart.
Has this been a problem only since your injury or since you started with the cortisol? If so, that could be the problem.
Also, if you are not able to give your body time to heal because of work demands, and you masking and working through the pain - I'm not surpised your emotional balance is off. Often when we have a physical ailment, it affects us mentally, and the other way around. Did you go to a company doctor by the way?? Rememer that repetative stress injuries usually don't get completely better unless you lay off what caused it in the first place for a while.

I'm pretty sure you don't have andropause. You're too young. Andropause is real for some guys, but not all. Not to be a pig, but I wonder if it isn't life and the wife that enhances some peoples perception of a decline. I've seen some guys 47, 48, with a 24 year old girlfriend, and a good job. These guys don't seem to be having any problem with andropause. You know what I am saying.

IMS, yeah I'm sure its real. It's something, even if it is just a collection of symptoms that can be relieved by a certain phamaceutical company's
(or supplement manufacturor's) product. Do you really think that's what you have though?
Here is something interesting to think about. Millions of people suffer back pain. Of the percentage that think they need back surgery, only 25% actually do according to their doctors. Sometimes the patient is right, but often, these people will never feel satisfied until they get a diagnosis, drug, surgery, treatment of whatever it is they feel they should get. The back pain is real, and just having that aknowledged is sometimes helpful
No one will ever be able to convince you IMS is not what you have, if you are already convinced you do. You'll have to take the treatment and find out if that is the case. Otherwise you'll never be sure if it is a case of you knowing your body best, or of your mind playing tricks on your body and itself by the power of suggerstion.

Can I tell you what your symptoms really sound like though?
Sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation, and maybe from that, just not taking as good care of yourself as you normally do? Have you been having any trouble with this. Has there been any changes in your sleeping habits?
Often 9 hours of sleep cures what ales us.

You may very quite possibly suffer from the latter
but I believe IMS has been around for quite some time and I personally find no reason to dismiss it.

There's no correlation between genitalia size being affected by under production of hormone levels.

Nah, my sleep has been fine over the yrs. And the trouble started way before the cortisone shots, so that theory is immaterial. But I still intend to ask my GP for a specialist.
