I've been on the floor, rolling around for some time. Moaning while I've been being loosened up. Some sweat has come to my brow. I will be sore tomorrow from my workout - from taking up lifting.

Hopefully this pain will be lessened by the post work out stretching and foam roller abuse. It hurts but there is nothing else like it to loosen up tight muscles. All give praise to the humble foam roller. May it bring you needed relief...after it has brought you much pain.

The foam roller is the best thing since sliced bread. I didn't know what they were when they first put them out at the gym, but once I had someone explain them to me, I was hooked!

All my IT band issues have resolved since I started using the roller.

My gym just replaced some of the foam rollers with PVC equivalents - anyone tried?

Absolutely wonderful for DOMS. I'm considering seeing if I can roll up my yoga mat and use that like a foam roller to use at home, maybe with some tape or some velcro. I used the one at the gym earlier today and had to suppress the desire to moan out loud, it felt so good.

Put one of those in yer hair and that would be one big curl!

    Rolfing like this? :lmao:

I tried it with the rolled up yoga mat. I didn't tape it and it works pretty good anyway, good enough to make do when my muscles are sore and knotted up. I am trying to lessen the number of things we own because we have run out of space, so I'm trying to get creative instead of buying more stuff. :biggrin1:

has been very friendly to my back *i mangled a couple years back*
even with all the physical therapy my back was one big ouch.
the rolfing lady saved my swagger, Ms. Enid.
after the first couple of weeks my back started not hurting all the time.
couple months of working out a couple days a week.. my back was all "lets to do something really stupid"

migraine headaches. like the whole time i following my plan, never had a migraine. something i've had since i was a wee ml.
