In praise of Valley Girls

For some odd reason, the Go-Goes song "Vacation" popped in to my head today. Made me think of the Valley Girls from the early 1980s. Am I the only one here who found them sexy? (I also like the early 80s Madonna wannabees and New York girls with thick accents.)

You're not alone. Back then I had a girlfrind who looked alot like Belinda Carlisle. Whenever I hear a Go Gos tune I can't help but think of her.
