F'n ridiculous
having a dozensailing around the world, sick sick sick

plenty of other humanitarian things to spend your billions on
try to make the world think great things of the USA again

CHINA/INDIA and others will be heading that way

How America’s Aircraft Carriers Could Become Obsolete
Modern missiles make them vulnerable. A $13 billion price tag makes them expensive. New technology may make them unnecessary.

America’s aircraft carriers could become obsolete. Trump has repeatedly said he wants the U.S. Navy to expand, including a fleet of a dozen aircraft carriers. However, modern missiles make them vulnerable, a $13 billion price tag makes them expensive, and new technology may make them unnecessary.

Should there be a "next world war"
and Corbyn is the prime minister for the uk
opposition will be negligible.
He's a pacifist, anti nuclear and just loves extremist terrorists he regards as peace fighters...
So its America. China and North Korea with the mix stirred (but not shaken) by the Russians.

Oh yes, in the event of a war involving the UK there would be a military takeover of the government by the armed forces....

China Warns Against ‘Negative’ U.S. Turn as Trump Raises Heat
China Warns of 'Negative' U.S. Turn

The remark, on a phone call between the two countries' presidents, was Xi Jinping’s first acknowledgment of rekindledtensions, following several assertive U.S. moves in Asia. Trump had called in part to advance talks on curbing North Korea’s nuclear weapons program, which have progressed little since Xi’s sunny April visit to Trump’s Florida resort.

As long as it does not destroy his new toll road and plans for Donnie World in Indonesia...:)

It worries me a bit rb, when the senior military US General in this region, wishes us to go to war against our neighbours. You guys will be involved as well.

And who is starting it?....Donnie himself by his financial dealings. This man could not win an arm wrestle in a McDonalds.

USA THAD could be termed a provocation as well?
and we know CHINA could possibly exert more pessure on NK

Russia, China agree joint approach to North Korea, slam US over missile shield
Russia and China agree a joint position on North Korea designed to defuse tensions around its missile programme and both want Washington to halt deployment of a missile shield in South Korea.
and both want Washington to halt deployment of a missile shield in South Korea, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Where could a North Korean ICBM hit?
A weapons analyst says North Korea's latest missile could have a maximum range of 6,700 kilometres. That has the potential to hit "all of Alaska" and could also put US military bases in the Pacific within reach.

North Korea: How will Donald Trump respond to the intercontinental ballistic missile claim?

UN to Meet on North Korea as U.S. Confirms Rocket Was ICBM

North Korea
Yesterday's rocket test by Kim Jong Un's regime has been confirmed as North Korea's first intercontinental ballistic missile, raising the possibility that the country coulddevelop the capability to launch a direct nuclear attack on the U.S. The United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting later today, with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling North Korea’s actions a "new escalation of the threat" to the U.S. and its allies. While financial markets in Seoul showed little signs of panic, there were increased indications that investors are seeking to protect themselves from further declines in the won

The US defence secretary has promised to protect Japan and provide he called 'extended deterrence' against North Korea's missile programme.

Earlier, Washington's ambassador to the UN warned of using military force in response to Pyongyang's latest ballistic missile test.

Xi May Put Ball Back in Trump’s Court on Talks With North Korea

So President Trump may find Xi pushing back if he tries to raise the pressure on him to do something when the two leaders meet at this week’s Group of 20 summit in Germany, Bloomberg’s Ting Shi reports. Kim’s successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile Tuesday changes little for Xi, even if it’s raising alarm bells in the U.S.

used to be a good source of mews like the BBC
both seem to have deterioted heaps now, both of them
editors or ..
admittedly theyre only reporting politician RUDDS mention, but
theyre almost suggesting a USA THAD defense system like SK now huh

'Why Australia should have a missile defence system for North Korea'
Australia needs to consider deploying a missile defence system to defend against attack from nuclear-armed North Korea, according to former prime minister Kevin Rudd.

yes you c... who already have nuclear are going to threaten everyone else and refuse to allow others to get anywhere close to having such

Treaty banning nuclear weapons adopted at UN

Peace campaigners hailed a global treaty to ban nuclear weapons under international law as a landmark moment.

But it's only symbolic - with none of the nuclear powers expected to sign the document when it's finally presented in September.

said it before dont believe CHINA has any obligation to appease the west by exerting its possible influence on NK, who willl likely always do what it wants, China or not
bought it on yourself TRUMP and you will be the first to do a bitch and moan no matter what China does, whatever you do you will be looking for/expecting the US citzens to be right behind you?
so dont try and use China/Russia as your excuse

North Korean missile launch pits China and Russia against the US

Two against one: China, Russia at odds with US over North Korea
For US President Donald Trump, there are no good options when it comes to dealing with North Korea, but Russia and China appear to be trying to extract a win by reducing US influence in the region, writes Ben Knight.

I don,t really care who , or by what means , that this half assed reptile bastard is " taken out " . Sooner rather than later i would suggest . Could not care less , if it is Trump + co , China , a clone of Adolf fucking Hitler , his mate Stalin , Theresa May , or the Man in the Moon , just as long as someone punches his ticket . My reason is simple , i fucking despise thugs , bullies and stand over men , in whatever form they appear , be they armed with rockets , ships , aircraft , small arms , knives , knuckle dusters , legislative power , a domineering intellect , or a computer keyboard etc . May they all burn in hell . I will close with a question ; why not a coalition made up of Chinese , Russian , Japanese , American , British , French , German , Italian , Canadian , Australian , New Zealand , Indian , South Korean , Pakistani , contingents from the Arabic states , and smaller nations of Europe and Africa .? Close down all trade , then send a naval contingent from each of the above , in his direction . Perhaps he might shit himself to death , upon the realization that such a force could utterly destroy his bullshit tinpot regime in a matter of moments . Never happen of course , but if it were up to me . Just thinking out loud , ..tired of living with a gun to my head .

Our one world economy won't allow for a ww3.

It's in China's best interest that the American economy be robust as fuck. And vice versa. (The reasons are obvious and simple).

Russia can't afford another cold war. They only care about the appearance of having a swinging cock. It's good for their national self esteem, so to speak, to stand up to the bastard yanks. But they have no interest in meeting us in the parking lot after last call.

If you legitimately fear a ww3, you're legitimately stoopid, yo.

As for North Korea, we pretty much have to defer to South Korea as they are the ones who will pay the heaviest price in the event of an all-out war. Now, if North Korea attacked the U.S., things would change. Of course, they're not going to do such a thing.

As for containing and deterring North Korea, I believe South Korea and Japan should inform China that unless China disarms the North's nuclear capability, they will both renounce the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and build their own nuclear arsenals. After all, it was the Chinese that permitted the north to go nuclear in the first place. I guarantee China does NOT want South Korea nor Japan developing a nuclear weapons ability. If I'm South Korea or Japan, I would NOT rely on an American administration to protect them. With a nuclear weapons capability, South Korea and Japan can put pressure on China to contain North Korea and could legitimately threaten to vaporize Beijing in the event North Korea annihilates Seoul, Tokyo, etc.
