Hey all,

I wasn't sure whether to put this in the PE thread or not, but since it's a little more broadly centered around general health, I decided to post it here.

I'm a smaller guy (around 5'7", slender frame) with a cock that's a little on the larger side. When I get hard, it never points up past horizontal, and that's on a good day. I figure since I'm smaller, it's more difficult to provide the blood for a larger erection. I'd like to know if I could get any advice on how to get more blood into the thing so it can stand a little prouder. This isn't about making my penis bigger. I'm happy with it's size as it is. I just want it to be as hard as possible. I've pledged to exercise more this summer, but what kind of exercise/diet is best for hardening and strengthening your erection past what it normally can do?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Blu

idk try stroking it while holding it up, closer to your chest. it works for me. or hold your cock directly down while getting it hard.

To increase the blood circulation, hydration is key, so make sure to drink enough water.
Coffee is kind of a two-edged affair, on the one hand it has many good ingredients that actually increase the vascular circulation, on the other end it actually reduces the amount of water in your body, even tho the actual intensity of that effect is controversial.
There are also many herbal substances that can help, spicy food like red chilis increase the blood flow of the genitals, green tea and green tea extract help the circulation in general so does wild garlic, which contains a lot of adenosine, very good also is ginkgo biloba, it does help the circulation in general and does improve the blood-viscosity, which is why it is a common herbal medication against forgetfulness caused by age. Rosemary is supposed to be good for circulation too. Selenium and Aloe Vera are helpfull too. There are also certain proteins that will help, for example l-arginin. I am sure i have left out a million things, but you get an idea and you sure can search for many more things. In addition there are exercises that can help, in general training your muscles in the pelvic floor region, general cardio training will help and there are also things you can do to instantly help your circulation, which will be a temporary effect tho. in general everything that has to do with Kneipp cure, like alternately hot and cold water in the shower.

things like shape and dangle angle are pretty much established by heredity. I doubt the angle has anything to do with adjusting blood flow.

Are you sure about that? I'm not considering myself an authority or anything, but one would think that if you could increase bloodflow to the penis and strengthen your erection, it would stand up a little straighter.

I'm going to weigh in on the side of heredity. I'm also pretty sure (based on myself and porn) that bigger cocks have a harder time with hardness (more blood required) and are closer to horizontal than smaller cocks.

When I was in puberty, the angle of erection was much closer to vertical than it is now - now that everything has hit full adult size. Even rock hard, and the angle is maybe 20degrees above vertical - and I'm about as fit as they come.

Sure the blood circulation and blood-viscosity have an influence, a harder erection usually has a different angle. So if the erection is not rock hard which can be very common for guys with bigger penises there can be something done about it.
Of course there are natural limits for any person, which are defined by heredity.

Speedo is right.
It is possible to increase the angle slightly with efforts but not by much because it is determined by genetics.
you can increase bloodflow and strengthen your erection but thats entirely different from the angle

As a gay guy, the upright cocks I've seen seem to take a steep upward curve at the base or even higher up the shaft. It's like the tissues on top are shorter or less stretchable than underneath, causing the shaft to bow upward. I believe, though many don't, that years of pointing the cock downward in your underwear can stretch those top ligaments that would normally support a higher erection.

And that is my two cents after 14 months.:biggrin1:
