Yesterday I was helping install a art gallery and needed a pair of scissors so I borrows a pair from a girl and cut my thumb. It bled, I washed it with some soap and water then put germx on it a little later. I'm freaking out majorly wondering what the likely hood of my contracting something from the cut, in the case say she cut herself with the same scissor cause I dunno if she did or not. :frown1:

I think the chances of you contracting an STD is highly unlikely. However if you have not had a tetanus shot booster in the last 10 years I would advise you to go to the doctor and get one. Otherwise keep the cut clean and dressed and you should be fine.

This.
There's no real reason to think you're going to get an infection indirectly from her.
Much more likely that other germs on the scissors will getchuh.
You should get a tetanus shot if you haven't had one in the past decade.
