So, things were going well but a bit tight. Took a bit of force to penetrate, and there was some bending of my cock. I tend to get softer if there is indications i am causing pain so this made things worse. Well, I noticed later that there was a small area of swelling on the left side of my cock about the size of a quarter with what feels like a hard vein running through it. It is a bit tender to the touch. There is not any bruising. Has anyone had this?

Could you be a bit more specific? Are you talking on the shaft? You said there was no bruising, but there might be one setting in over time. If so, you probably just had a small vein pop while penetrating with it being so tight. I'm assuming you're talking about anal sex with another male... Either way, the only time I've had anything remotely like that happen was when I was going through puberty. I used to stroke vigorously and withought lube, and sometimes spontaneously my dick would swell up like a cucumber after I came, and be really heavy. Like an oedema. But this was my entire shaft, not localized. It went away in a day or so when the fluids got reabsorbed, but it never bruised. It was more worrysome than anything else. I'd suggest giving it a day and re-evaluating.

It is on the shaft about an inch below the head. I ended up going into the clinic to be seen. Thought that is was a sheer injury, superficial. Ice and anti-inflammatory meds and no sex for at least 5 days. The doctor thought it may bruise up some but the swelling and irritation should go away in a couple days.

Just thought I'd update this. The area kept coming back and sort of burned/ached after sex. I was trying to limit things and be careful but still worrird me. Skipped more visits to the GP and went to urology. It is a small break after all. Seems I should have had surgery the day I went in back in June, if the GP had sent me to urology straight away. MD said it is healing and trying to do surgery now might make it worse. So, no sex for 2 months follow up in 3 months. If it is not healed I will need reconstruction with an infertility specialist. On the bright side he said my break was in the best possible place for a good outcome with less risk of long term problems.
