Here is a short introduction to the Alphabet itself, as well as the voicing of the letters. Especially those differing from the Latin based English language.
A, α. = Το A and a.
B, β. = Το V, and v ( it sounds V not B )
Γ, γ = Το G,W,Y, and g,w,y ( as in the word wood. yard, yellow )
Δ, δ = Το the voiced "Th" sound ( as in the word "the" or "there"
E, ε = Το Ε and e ( As in the words elf. or Elementary ) always as an Eh sound not iii)
Ζ, ζ = Το Z and z ( As in the words Zoo or Zebra )
H, η = Το Ε e ( Has nothing to do with the English 'H" sound. Instead it sounds like eee as in the word Eden )
I, ι = Το I. i ( As in the word International )
K, κ = To K k ( As in many words of "k" sound. "Kilometer. keep, Kirk.
Λ, λ = Το L and l ( As in many words containing L. Long, List, Last etc )
M, μ = Το M and m ( Just plain M sounds M not any different )
N, ν = Το Ν and n ( Just plain N sounds N not any different )
O, o = To O and o
Π, π = To P and p ( It's pronounced pee not pie)
Ρ, ρ = Το R and r ( It's pronounced Roh not Pi)
Σ, σ, ς = The upper and lower cases of S,s Now the σ goes in between a word as in Κά σ τρο
while the ς at the end of a word ending in s, as in 'Ορο ς 'Ολυμπο ς = Olympus
the mountain
Τ, τ = To T and t
Y, υ = Το Y and y ( It's pronounced ee not yee)
Φ, φ = To F and f
Χ, χ = To H and h ( notice that it's a harder H sound as in Herman, or Hulk )
Ψ, ψ = Το Ps ( P and s together both letters must be heard.)
Ω, ω = To O and o ( As in Ωμέγα = Omega for spelling purposes. as Ωμέγα, Ωραίος, Ωρίων
Ωραίος=Cute Ωρίων=Orion)
Also notice that vowels are seldom accented with an accent on top of them.
That means they are voiced on that very syllable. e.g. Πόρτα=Port voicing on the ό.
Lastly also,to say: Consonants are never accented. They may take a hyphen but it's not
a voiced sign. It's for spelling purposes only.

Yo
The diphthongs are important too

μπ, ντ, etc
You're absolutely right! I missed them completely So Here is my Addendum as far as diphthongs are concerned.
αυ = af or av e.i. αυτός pronounced aftos. and αυλή = pronounced avlee
γκ = G as in Gay μπ = B as in Banana ντ = D as in Date or Door And finally τζ = J as in Jason, Jersey etc.
