I'm multi-racial. 98% of the time I am the exotic part of the relationship.

Me, too. It's pretty much all interracial dating as far as I'm concerned.

I am old enough to remember when interracial dating and marriage were illegal in certain states and violators were prosecuted and jailed! And I am not that old.

My parents went through a lot of racism when they got married. It was a big deal. It wasn't illegal for them, but socially it was a rough time. Wasn't easy on us kids either, but I think it all worked out. I like being 'exotic'.

Define Racism. Google is your friend.

Thanks for correcting me. My parents experienced racial discrimination. However, my father was the subject of a predominate belief that due to his race he was inferior to the white folks, and the marriage to my mother was equated by some to be almost between two species.

I have experienced racial discrimination. By virtue of race, I seem to deserve "less" than others - less protection from police, less ability to rent, etc.

Again thank you for clarifying this matter for me. I wish you luck with your mission to edify this issue for races around the globe!

Yeah, and I hope you enjoy your own definition of reality.

I am highly attracted to "exotic" looking men. Such as middle eastern, Indian, Italian/Spanish, and Asian. Men with dark hair(everywhere, lol), darker skin tones, dark looking features. Luckily for me, a miracle happened and I somehow bagged a lovely Italian man who meets all of my wild dreams about wanting a dark, handsome, exotic looking lover. I have always been attracted to Asian men, but they are sadly not usually attracted to curvier women :(

There was a time, in the South, that Black men had to step off the sidewalk when a white woman was walking by. Emmet Till was beaten, and lynched because he just whistled at a passing white woman. How quickly we forget. And they call it states rights.

i'm attracted to women of ALL races, but through out my unexpalinable 38 years on this planet i've dated white women, hispanic women, and asain women.the only problem that i've had with it was the families of the women HATED the fact i was black.
some of the encounters i've had with angry family members ranged from
straight up being called all types of racial slurs to my face,to being in fights or being jumped by dads and brothers of some of the women i've dated.
oh..i forgot that one time when i almsot got run over by an old girlfriend's dad, with his pickup truck.

they were not only bigots they had no class. Choose higher up on the ladder.

Murder is illegal. Bigotry isn't. Probably should be.

Bigotry remains legal. ie. You can't go to jail for what your are thinking. But resultant actions/behavior will get you locked up.

I wholeheartedly agree, however there is a movement to make certain thought processes illegal. The political forum would be a better place to discuss that. I also respect your proper usage of the words bigots and bigotry. It's really sad (insert your own word) when people continue to misrepresent the words racist and racism for their own selfish reasons.
