    Another milestone.

I wanted to use my 2000th post to talk about something different.

I noticed sometimes that LPSG-ers are very passionate:(from anger to avid) about the political climates of today. I thought that I would create a thread that would give LPSG-ers a chance to express "WHAT WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL WORLD? WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU HAPPY? WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE WORLD YOU ARE LOVING AND LIVING IN TODAY?"

You don't have to write it all at once. You could write some and continually build on this.

This will be our IDEAL WORLD expressed. After all, we know how the world is right now but do we know how better the world could be?

I would like to start it off ...

    My ideal world :

    1. I would like to have a nonjudgmental immediate family.
    2. I would like to have cute boyfriend that isn't apt towards running away.
    3. I would like to be able to go back in time to tell my Mom I am sorry.
    4. I would like to go school and learn how to cook professionally.
    5. I would like to see people be happy and enthusiastic about love and life.
    6. I would like to be able to be certain of what I am supposed to be doing here (not talking about LPSG but in life). Sometimes the purpose changes.
    7. I would like the Mormons to have a holiday like Mardi Gras where they can masturbate, have sex, drink caffeinated beverages, and ditch those companions and bikes. Mormons are some very uptight people.
    8. Whoever God is--Have Him to come back down on Earth to settle this mess straight. His public relations firm sucks.
    9. I would've liked to have been treated better by people in high school and in college.
    10. I would like for people to be able to speak their minds. Good or bad.
    11. I would like to be myself. Flaws and all.

Damn it, Dong!! You beat me to it.

However, your world doesn't sound too bad, invisibleman.

I would just add the following:

A decrease in cost of living so that more people can get the things they need and want.

A world that was accepting of all the sexual things that they fear...(minus bestiality)

I would like a world where every one was 100% self confident. Could you imagine what that could solve? No one would abuse... no one would be jealous... no one would compete... amazing.

I love that idea. This is a quintessential Matrix/Neo concept. "I can show you the door Neo, it is you that has to walk through it."--Morpheus

Anyone can do miraculous things. Sometimes we get in our way. And not being too supportive of each other.

Without hunger, who would teach us appreciation for sustanance. Without disease, who would teach us appreaciation and value of life itself. Without evil, too much good in the world would be boring. Evil teaches us to prevail or resourcefulness. Evil illustrates a problem that good people should pay attention to.

In my ideal world, I'd like for there to be many, many more people like you:

    People that:

    - share in your worldly ideals
    - can have just a glimmer of your humanity
    - are as sensitive as you are
    - allow themselves to be vulnerable and yet remain strong
    - constantly are in touch with their immense depth and creativity.
    - I am able to respect and admire...that challenge my values,
    through living out their own
    - constantly display selflessness
    - are able to laugh freely, at themselves, neighbour and the world

You don't need to be yourself invisibleman, because you are yourself and I for one am very grateful for encountering your own inner reality and truth that you so generously and deeply share in your posts.

Thank you for who you are and what you stand for...and using a milestone like this to help us think about a better world.

    Congratulations on your 2000th post!
