Anyone ever had a slightly red and irritated pee hole for a long time (over a year)?

Been to the doc and it’s not an infection of any kind.

It’s helped a bit by drying with paper after peeing.

Sorry to hear it's been a year of unhappy member :(

Suggestion...

For one week:

-- Remove any jewelry from your penis. If removal isn't viable, confirm that the jewelry you have is made from pure (not coated) titanium or niobium. Surgical stainless steel is usually OK, but can still cause irritation, depending on the alloy.

-- Clean the area using only water (no soap) when you shower.

-- Consider applying a very small amount of petroleum jelly (vaseline) to the opening (urethral meatus) after you dry off from the shower. You want to coat the opening to create a protective layer of jelly over all irritated surfaces.

-- Rinse the opening with water immediately after you urinate / ejaculate. Don't apply lotions or fragrance in the area. Reapply petroleum jelly after you wash and dry the area.

-- Wear supportive underwear that's neither overly tight nor overly loose (boxer briefs are ideal.)

-- Don't squeeze hard while masturbating or do anything else that puts pressure on the head of your penis. Ideally avoid masturbation / any sexual activity for the week.

-- Ideally avoid caffeine and juice and drink around 3,000 mL of water per day.

The goal of these steps is to remove potential irritants long enough for your skin to heal (it may take longer than a week to heal fully, but you should at least see improvement after a week.)

If the irritation persists at this point, return to your healthcare provider and / or request a referral to a urologist. Suggest they test your blood sugar and the pH of your urine (I'm assuming they already tested last year, but good to verify / get data to compare to now.)

Good luck to you!
