Is anyone married in Texas?

    In 2005, Texas voters passed a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage. But a Houston lawyer now says the poorly worded 22-word clause might mean all marriages in Texas are now in limbo.

    So, does this mean that marriages performed in Texas are invalid? This could be an interesting story to follow. I wonder what the tax and inheritance implications would be. What about anyone going through a divorce in Texas just now?
