I was on holidays in Catalonia 2 weeks ago and I saw so many gay men holding hands on the Rambla.
I even saw a drag queen going to people and chatting with them.
None batted an eye.
Everyone behaved super tolerant and nobody even stared at them or anything.
At one point I felt like the only person staring out of surprise for how tolerant everyone was towards them.
I always thought about Spain as a macho culture.
Is Catalonia / Spain really this tolerant towards LGBT people or is it a fake kind of tolerance?
