I have a question for the women (or men) of LPSG.

I just had a thought about something I heard my girlfriend say once.

It was something to the effect that chocolate was better than sex because in the realm of sex there is great sex, good sex, not so good sex, and of course bad sex.

But chocolate is never bad, it is always satisfying and it never disappoints!

So given the choice would women choose chocolate over sex, because one is always pleasurable and the other not always so?

And this also brings to mind something I recall my mother telling me about sex after we had the birds and bees talk. That there is no such thing as bad sex. All sex is at least good/decent ; better than not having it. And while it may not always be stellar it could never be bad.

(Excluding First Time/Virgins where I would think the sex could very well be bad and or painful)

    What are your thoughts?

    I don't think so.

Chocolate hasn't ever given me oral sex.

Someone might type in about the sex they had with a chocolate easter rabbit in due time....

    here's the deal:

i can have sex guilt-free any day, any time.

    i can't eat chocolate every day. it's a treat.

so there are times when, if i had to choose, i'd take the chocolate.

    • That's a lie! I have had both bad sex and bad chocolate. Though not simultaneously.
    • There is a theory usually held by men that there is no bad sex, so I am kinda shocked your mom had that opinion.
    • In the movie Threesome the Stephen Baldwin character says that "sex is like pizza, even when it's bad it's still pretty good."
    • Allegedly chocolate contains enzymes which mimic the endorphin rush of good sex.

British women prefer chocolate to sex: poll Published: Tuesday June 5, 2007

More than half of British women prefer chocolate to sex, saying it can be depended on to give pleasure, according to a survey published Tuesday.

But British men overwhelmingly think sex is sweeter, with 87 percent preferring carnal pleasures to a bar of confectionery.

Fifty-two percent of women would rather curl up with a bar of chocolate, according to the survey of 1,500 Britons by confectionery giant Cadbury, quoting one women as saying "chocolate provides guaranteed pleasure".

    "Chocolate never disappoints," she said.

Cadbury -- hit by a salmonella scare last year -- highlighted a study by the psychologists at the University of Wales into links between chocolate and endorphins, the mood-enhancing chemicals which produce feelings of pleasure.

"It's not just the endorphins that makes chocolate so enjoyable," said Paul Hebblethwaite, the company's global science director.

"As it melts in the mouth at body temperature, chocolate's creamy texture and unique aroma hit all of the body's senses, heightening the sensuality of the experience," he added.

Tastes vary between different parts of the country: Londoners are the keenest on sex, with 79 percent preferring it to chocolate, while overall 40 percent of people in eastern England would prefer to a bar of chocolate.

The manufacturer also pointed out that almost half of British men regularly give chocolate as a birthday present or a thank you gift.

Hmm, maybe British men are just really bad at sex?:rolleyes:

I enjoy chocolate but the flavour only lasts so long.

Great sex is more fun, burns more calories, and generally lasts longer.

While I certainly do, have a fetish for a particular type
of chocolates,I would take sex over chocolate, any day of the week!

If cum tasted like chocolate we would have it made.

Don't ask my wife this question now, she is on a diet and it wouldn't be fair.
