So is there a huge difference between designer underwear that you buy individually and the bag of hanes that you can get at Wal Mart? Are they better made, feel more comfortable? Help better with odor sweaty crotch? (lol)

yes there is, for me the difference is huge. i dont say i dont like those $1 and that they are uncomfortable or anything but those others just feel expensive somehow. waistband is way better, wider and stronger, the fabric feels smoother and softer and usually they are tailored better.

It's not always worth it. For instance, Zegna underwear is very well-made, but Boss tends to shrink, which is very annoying (Hugo Boss clothes are definitely not the best made out there). I have some Armani polyamide briefs that are very comfortable and keep their shape. I have also had Gregg boxer briefs for years; they look like new and fit perfectly.

Is a Ferrari better than a Ford?

You would be astounded at how much better the designer stuff is. But you have to pay to play. I suggest buying ONE pair of the designer stuff and comparing it to a Wal-Mart pack of Hanes. Let your body do the talking.

Don't have any designer underwear as of yet, but I do have tons of Burberry clothes, and yes I love them haha. Some of the pants feel the same but I have some that fell great, as others said the cut, quality, and material feels much softer, and way more comfortable. I should buy some underwear, just to test them out also. haha

Yes there is. Do you want to look like every other guy wearing wal-mart haynes or do you want to look different? If you are interested in underwear designed and constructed to show off your bulge you won't fine that at wal-mart. I bet I have a 100 different pairs all by different designers. Some of my favorites, Joe Snyder, Cock Sock, Obviously for men, Tulio, Speedo, ergowear to name a few.

Designer underwear from companies known for underwear is what you should be looking for.

I get mine tailor made by a retired seamstress from a very upscale ladies shop.

Quite the lady! I "rescued " her in a blizzard, took her to my cabin--literally no other choice.

Never anything sexual, she very candidly observed that I appeared to be "blessed" and said it was obvious 'off the rack, off the shelf..' Would never work for me.

I’ve had designer underwear that last for so many years, but I’m not really sure the cost justifies the length of use. But from a sustainability point of view I would rather buy clothing for a higher price that would last longer than disposable fashion.
