The thing I love about debating with people who take a literal interpretation of the bible is that they can't have it both ways.
They can't cherry pick what parts are to be taken literally and what parts are open for interpretation otherwise they lose immediately.
If the answer to the OP's question is "yes," then what? If the answer is "no," then what? If the answer is, "I don't believe in a God, then the question is mute. If the point of the question is to debate the nature of God, then the issue will likely not be settled here unless LPSG'ers know something that a few millennium of debate hasn't resolved.

The scriptures mentions that homosexuality is an abomination. It also mentions that eating pork, stealing, and lying are abominations.
Technically, God would be against it because it can lead to a painful life or even death since people "want you to live a controlled life." That is during that time, they didn't have methods of protection we have. Leviticus mentions several diseases and the methods were to separate the people from the others because they were spiritually "unlcean".
Dogs, like pigs, were considered unclean animals in the Bible and people still have them as their treasured pets today. People just do what they want, and apply holiness when it's convenient for them.
Religion wasn't created by God though, it was created by man. Even if God was against the act of homosexuality, plenty of heterosexuals still have sex outside of marriage, commit oral sex..etc. You can't say homosexuality isn't natural then turn around and fuck a woman in the ass or let her peg you which is also hella unnatural. Yet, they still do it because "vanilla sex" is boring... Ya know the "natural" way God intended.. When you question them about it, things suddenly turn into... "What goes on behind closed doors in no one else's business." Go figure.
I wonder if people still believe a woman got pregnant without sex just because she was " chosen" for no other reason than...How about you?
