Seems pretty harsh, mean even. This guy has done nothing to offend you. On the contrary, he has tried to make at least a friendly connection with you.

I don't think me not being his friend will hurt him. I don't think that he will even notice if we are friends for not. It's not like im cutting off all comunication with him. I only see him twice a week for 2 hours and even then we can't talk cause were in class. I will just keep doing the same thing I'm doing with him he has been getting closer and closer to me since the first day so I must be doing something right. Also about not needing any more friends I just don't think even if we become friends we would see each other very often so it would end. Even though his conversations are quite interesting.
