And guys, we can hear behind us, you know. I mean, at least let me get a block away before you make your rude comments. I just came back from lunch and had to pass by the smoking area, where all the smokers congregate on the side of the building on the sidewalk. I steeled myself because I knew - I just knew as soon as I passed. OK, here are the comments I heard: first they laughed then I heard somebody say "Shit" but long and drawn out, you know. Then something like "you saw those - god damn." It's almost like a script. And those are the clean ones.

I don't even smile at men any more. Boobs and a smile mean I want to go to bed with you. At least that's what I've managed to translate.

But not all men. That's why I love my job. I work in interior design and most of my male friends are gay and they are wonderful people. I know exactly where I stand, although Martin is very envious of my chest and told me so! I love it!

Sorry for going off, but I mean it just happened and well it pisses me off.

That does sound humiliating, I'm sorry. No I'm sure it's not easy to "who cares" it away. But can the sting if a stranger's cat calls compare to the sting of a failed love life? That's not to say that men don't learn to overcome the weakness, but I can't help but see it as the larger obstacle. Not that it matters in the end, as it doesn't change things for either person.

I have to agree that men have it worse in the end. While I do know there are men and women, and grade school kids who make negative comments about any given girl's or ladie's small breasts, society, as a whole, seems to think it's ok and generally exceptable to make snide and rude comments about a guy's small penis, or really small penises in general. I can usually count the minutes it'll take before somebody takes any sexual conversation towards small penises. And there's almost always a sense of ridicule involved. I do get a sense that a high percentage of women with small breasts feel inadequate though, much like their male counterparts. It's hardly an equal comparison though.

There is a feeling of inadequacy that comes with having small boobs but you get over it. It's not the end of the world and there are far bigger things to worry about than the size of your reproductive organs.

Dolfette, I just went looking for this Just for Laughs kind of skit I saw once but I can't find it. It involves a man wearing women's clothes, walking past a construction site where the workers are way up on scaffolds so they can't see him very clearly, and after lots of cat calling, the man turns around and lifts his skirt for the construction guys.

to be a woman with smaller breasts than a man with a smaller penis?
Yes. Many men like smaller breasts. Many women do not like small penes.

Oh, and breasts aren't sex organs, the penis is a sex organ, so they aren't really comparable anyway.

Understandable considering the situation described.

No, they aren't, Symphonic. I wasn't aiming for a direct comparison between the two but rather the perspective of those who find themselves in the groups in comparison. Your point, however, is very well realised.

if they were considerate they'd say that stuff face to face, alone and without witnesses. i can deal with that.

Okay, where can I say stuff like that to you now?

Not if it means I'll end up like that poor lad in your avatar. Ouch! *reaches down to cover the vital part*

But I only wanted to say it in positive/complimentary light though. Please?

Don't ask her. Just do it. She'll pretend not to like it. But if you coo the right way, you'll own her for life.

i'm old fashioned. i think it's only appropriate to make specific comments on body parts after intimacte relations have begun.

It was brought up by Symphonic.
The penis has a function for sex. It still has to get erect. And size does matter in the extremes. I havent heard of any fans for small anywhere.

Breasts are more subjective. And they can be made bigger or smaller.

So what is worse? Getting cat calls all the time, but appreciated in intimate moments, or, not getting any heckling at first, but being laughed at or having an awkward moment at your most intimate moment when you are discovered small. And then you get the whispers behind your back when word gets around because apparently, girls talk?

Whoa man... The OP wanted a comparison between small breasts and small penises: here you are comparing large breasts with small penises!

I've had small breasts. I have slept with a man with a small penis.

I'd rather have small breasts. I would hate to be a guy and have a girl ask me, "Is it in yet??" (Not that I ever said that, but he told me that he's heard it before.) And at least I had the possibility for change.

For the record, I love my "girls". Yes, there is more weight for gravity to draw on, but I like showing them and having them ogled. Perhaps because I started as an A cup in my teens and it's taken 20 years (and a baby) to get to the D-borderline-DD cup I wear now. Had I been a teen with this size, having endured teasing and taunts and other issues, maybe I would feel different.

On the other hand, it's not like guys haven't been inconsiderate assholes to me even with a smaller breast size.
