I do think that is true for some people, but not everyone. I do think there are some true bisexuals out there who are attracted to both. I don't think it has to be exactly 50.000000% to 50.00000% to be bi.
I also think there are some major horndogs who just want to get off and the gender doesn't matter. Some of those are "straight." Others just consider themselves "sexual" without the "bi" qualifier in front.

I switch frequently between one or the other. If I see a woman I'm attracted to, my body and mind respond. If I see a man I'm attracted to, same deal. I'm not, however, always attracted to the same degree. When I'm masturbating without porn, I tend to imagine sex with women about 20% of the time though I can go through exclusive phases.
