    Finally went to the doctor.

I explained to him I get the normal big-fucking morning boner, but when it comes time to fuck, even after taking a 100mg Viagra does I'm as limp as it gets.

He said to try 1mg of Xanax two hours before sex, along with a Viagra, to see how it goes.

He said the fact that I get a morning boner means that there is nothing physically wrong with me.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.. I have a trip coming up in two weeks to Trinidad with a sexy Latino chick.. I really want to make a "lasting impression", but even thinking about what will happen when it's time to pull out my dick is getting me freaked out.

    Yes.. I do.

I don't know if it depression, the unhappy marriage that I'm trying to figure my way out of (I have a daughter... complex)..

Without Viagra or some other type of ED drug, I can't get hard when I need it to.

    Sucks.

Why don't you try taking the Xanax and skipping the Viagra. It does not sound like you have ED; but a complex life that is interfering with your sex drive.

I was thinking of that.. I have never used any drugs for anxiety. Thanks.
I just wanted to know if there was any other guys out there trying the same combo.. I guess it should be safe.. Doctor is the one who had the idea..

Well im only potentially a Doc (pre-med still) but I am a chemistry major, anyway the viagra does not cause sexual arousal, it just aids in getting an erection by increasing blood flow (and pressure). If your young, healthy and not needing Viagra then you may get hard whether you want to or not lol (kinda like in the morning) or by taking it. But something is either sexually arousing or it is not (how much this eludes some people is amazing, especially those who seem to be aroused by anything) viagra or a similar drug can not make you feel sexually aroused if the programing is not there in your head for it.

I dont have a much experience with the whole relationship thing but I would guess the issue lies there.

    good luck!

Seems more psychological to me, especially with the news that you're in the process of leaving your marriage. Who are you having sex with? Your (soon to be ex) wife? or someone else? It may be that you have a lot on your mind and your body's not agreeing with you because you haven't worked out internal issues that prevent your proper sexual arousal and function.

Maybe instead of pill-popping you could seek behavior/mental therapy to address the issues that preventing you from doing what you want to do.

    Best of luck!

    Have you considered marriage counseling?

First of all, congrats on being able to bring this up with your doc! And 2nd, that doc is golden, keep him!!! Finally, try just the xanax, if cock does not get hard when relaxed, move on to viagra, too. The xanax will probably help the nerves which is really the issue it sounds like, viagra will help if you are too relaxed. Finally don't get too worked up over the whole thing, just make sure you are ready to please your sexy friend, and if she questions any issues just tell her how much you want to please her. Getting too worked up over the erection is probably part of the problems, nerves on top of nerves make for bad sex. Relax and enjoy!

Oh and don't mix alcohol with xanax or probably the viagra either! So just juice for you, no rum drinks!

Sounds like it's more in your head than anything. I'd go with some counseling to help get to the root of the problem. If it's your wife you're having problems with it's probably a result of you trying to figure out how to get out of the marriage. If you're married and having a relationship outside that marriage it could be something as simple as guilt - sorry to say it but it could affect you and you're just not realizing it. I had a friend who cheated on his wife every time he went out of town on business. Right after he'd get finished he'd puke his brains out. It was uncontrollable! EVERY SINGLE TIME he cheated, he'd puke. So again check with a counselor on this...and good luck.

They are safe to take together. My exhusband had a lot of your same problems, too. Sometimes he could get hard with no problem, but he couldn't stay hard. He felt too much pressure to perform. For a long time I thought he just didn't want sex with me, but I recently found out he takes viagra to be able to perform for his gf. He stresses about it, and that is truly the root of his problem. sounds like it could be yours as well. I hope the xanax works for you. It's worth a try.

I've had many family members take Xanax, with disastrous results. Paranoid behavior, extreme addiction to the drug. You might want to try something else for the depression or at least be aware that this is a dangerous drug
