Jeeso, calm down fella, no need for the shouting. There's a world of difference between inches and feet, and the chart originated from somewhere other than ebaums, the fact that I linked from there is neither here nor there.

Is the internet to blame for penis size being interpreted incorrectly? No, because length and girth varies all over the world. What may be average in Jamaica won't necessarily be average in Japan. Globally there is no standard size.

It's more media in general (of which porn is a part) which should be "blamed" for penis oversizing (and undersizing).

I am quite sure that when porn first began (1920's? Film porn I mean), penis size was not a factor in choosing 'talent'. What happened was porn became stale and they wanted something to make porno "stand out" so to speak. So they chose guys with the biggest cocks they could find (which are not actually that big).

The biggest problem is that you have doctors, people on TV and the internet all saying that the AVERAGE penis size is "somewhere between 5 and 7 inches".

What they mean to say is most penises range from 5 to 7". An average should be a single number. In which case the average is more accurately 5.3" or so.

The reason they give you a range of numbers is to try and satisfy everyone. But there is a very big and noticeable difference between 5" and 7". Only about 1% of men have 7" or more. Also, nasty girls need 7" or more...

For example, two units is two units. If the average height is said to be 5-7ft then maybe everyone would be happy with their height. But that is in fact a lie. Since very few people 7ft tall just as very few people have 7" or longer penises.

What you need to remember also is that anyone can say anything on the internet. The person who answered that question probably has a penis smaller than 19cm/7.48in

So he is not an objective party and was most likely jealous of the person asking the question. I think his information was wrong too. Not just because it gives a range as an average instead of a single number but because he says the average is 5 to 7.5. I have never heard any doctor or person of authority say the top end was 7.5.

I think they are all told to say 5-7".
