If it is legal, who cares. Women show off their breasts.

No one is forced to look at your crotch.

However, I have to say, intentionally trying to show it off will only make you look like an ass. No one likes show-offs. :)

This is a resurrected thread. Keep in mind that if you comment on a post from 2004, the original poster may not be here and may not respond to your comment.

Bulges. Are they wrong? They should fall into the same category as breasts. Some breast shots may be vulgar. And it has nothing to do with size. In our society erect nipples are considered inappropriate and so should true erect penises.

But, the day that women are required to bound their breasts so that children can't tell that women have breasts is the day I would consider making gusy bound their dicks to completely hide them as well.

It is very sexist to promote breasts, wear padded bras etc while condemning men who happen to have very large flaccid penises.

Really, should women and men look the same in the crotch area. Why? Should men and women look the same in the breast area? Just what is the difference?

We have had enough posts about nudity and men being nude in front of children and whether that is right or wrong. But very small children noticing a man's package and asking what is it to mom and dad gives an opportunity to discuss the differences in men and women when the child asks and not a "set up" moment. The same about asking about a woman's breasts. These are just natural parts of life and shouldn't be completely and totally hidden to the point that children don't even know their is a difference based on what they see in public.

If we would just settle down a bit and not worry about when the outline of a dick can be noticed unless it is extremely and deliberately obvious, then all the talk about how children will know the differences would be solved without men showing nude cocks to the children.

And just like the breast being obvious, if it were common, no one would think anything about it. Back in the 70's the pants showed the package. Teen and guys in their 20's who had fit bodies and wore those very tight pants showed thier packages. Same with speedos. Since they all were doing it, it became "normal."

We are doing our boys a major disfavor if we make them feel they are vulgar just because their dicks started growing and mom dad teachers and all are hovering over them to make sure that there isn't a chance that the dick might could be noticed or a bulge be present.

Can someone post why bulges are wrong, but the obvious breasts are just fine and dandy. That would be intersting reading.

This is just another example of the attempt to feminine our boys and take away any masculine traits they have left.

Disclaimer: I am talking about natural bulges, not transparent clothes, or guys deliberately flaunting their erections. Those are different issues.

We have a teacher in our high school that wears jeans. He is in his 20's He has a package and I might add a good one too. It is not vulgar. He doesn't flaunt it. He is quite conservative. He should not be made to feel that he is an immoral person for having a big package anymore than that huge breasted teacher should be made to feel immoral because of her cup size.

I was on a very long training ride for the AIDS ride that goes from SF to LA> About half way through the ride, everyone stopped at a coffee shop to get something to eat and drink. We were all in biking shorts. My dick is pretty big totally soft and lets face it, there is no place to hide a dick in biking shorts. No one seemed to care except this one middle-aged lady that was starring at me and giving me a dirty look like I didn't deserve to eat at the shop. Maybe she thought I had an erection or something since I am bigger soft than most guys are hard. The funny thing is she had huge breasts. They were modestly covered, but still very visible. I felt like saying "When you figure out how to hide your breasts, I will figure out how to hide my dick."

I realize everyone has a different motivation why they're showing or not showing their bulge. Some do it to get attention, others can't help showing a bulge ... merely because god has given them this tool which is a bit on the large side.

Take me for instance. I am bigger than average and always making sure I don't show too much. Why is that? I hate to draw attention to myself and get embarrassed when guys check my out. Trust me, most of the time it attracts guys whom are just looking to score and don't look beyond the bulge in my pants. "Show it if you got it", some of my friends say but I rather keep my dick private.

I think it should be illegal for men not to show a bit of a bulge. As a woman, I find it an enormous turn on when I'm talking to a guy and can see he is hung.. although it makes conversation a little tricky because I find myself so easily distracted as it is!

I think it all depends on context and just what sort of bulge it is. There are some places where too much of a bulge wouldn't be appropriate. Also there are bulges and bulges, say the difference between a general bulge in your jeans and actually being able to see the outline of your cock or even the cock head through thin, tight fabric. The first would be fine in a lot of situations where the second wouldn't.

But generally within these limitations bulges are fine in my opinion. Women have breasts, men have balls and cocks and while its not appropriate to actually show them off in public most of the time I don't think we should pretend they aren't there.

i think it's only wrong at work and in place where little kiddies are around, in both cases it's inappropriate. other than that anything is fair game, though i understand more conservative views, i understand that some people don't wanna see someone's genitals showing through their clothes.

I only wear boxers, no briefs or boxerbriefs. I hate tight underwear. Sometimes, the outline of my limp dick shows through my shorts or pants. Oh well. Don't stare at my crotch if you don't want to see it.

i don't think it's entirely an issue of "don't stare if you don't wanna see it". i'd have a problem if you i a kid in preschool and the teacher's walking around with a big boner and tells the kids "if you don't wanna see it don't look at it". i think it's more an issue of genitilia being visible than just staring at a crotch.

I pretty well always show a bulge, it's not on purpose, it's just the way my body is. I'm not looking for attention. I go commando so it does hang down my leg, i find commando more comfortable than having everything squished in underwear that don't fit well, Even if I wear underpants I still show a bulge. I will wear a jock on certain occasions like the Grammys, or the Oscars, because it's just a nicer look with a tux or a suit.
