I have to admit that over the years she has made me chuckle and then not.I have recently caught her in a tv show called 'Fashion Police.' (VERY FUNNY!)... She's a great de-bunker of celeb egos!!

I have not seen enough of her to be able to say really but I met her a few years ago while shopping and she was charming and funny and adorable in spite of her over dose of plastic surgery.

I don't know what she looks like in the flesh, but on TV she looks better now than she did in the 80's so I think the surgery was money well spent.

I think she's still very funny.

I would have to see her live to say "yes" or "no." I was stuck in Las Vegas for an unintended stay and caught her act at the old Desert Inn (no longer exists). She was well on her way, via plastic surgery, to look like Madame of Waylan and Madame (if you remember that puppet/ventriloquist act). However, she delivered over an hour of the most filthy and extremely funny comedy i've ever witnessed. Granted, her major skill was to say something so vulgar and filthy that the shock affect could only be mediated by laughter. And she was very funny.

I think she's funny! I like her a lot, and I admire how she helped pave the way for female comics of today.

I'm either completely out of touch or else have lost my funny bone, but I haven't found JR funny in decades (probably about the same time Edgar killed himself). Her book, Enter Talking, however, was very smart and wistfully funny. It had a subtlety she's never shown anywhere else.

I just watched her documentary "Piece of Work" on Netflix- I liked her years ago... the carson-era and see her once in a blue moon hawking her jewelry/crap etc..

The movie was /is brilliant. It goes from her slow times, thru the Carson debacle (he never spoke to her again) the death of Edgar, etc.... there is a scene where she gets heckled in Minn. amazing. I have new respect for her.

If it were not for her would we have Kathy Griffin? Margaret Cho? etc....etc...

I do agree, humor IS subjective.

(oh I would have loved to see her and Don Rickles work together...)

Funny BUT a bit mean spirited considering she's had so much 'work' done.
