She will never top her act about the hamster in the toilet, so she will never be AS funny, but you have to hand it to her -- at her age, most people are either dead or have forgotten how to laugh.

So three cheers for her.

Not even remotely
Yeah, dig it, about the only funny about her nowadays is the amount of cosmetic surgeries she's had; Imagine a damn near 80 yr old woman looking like a 50 yr old.

What's really surprising is the fact that she did THE APPRENTICE last yr and actually held out.

She is proof of the triumph of ego over all other factors. I always liked Phyllis Diller more, but they are both lovely in their ways. Carol Channing too.

The kind of female comic who does things I will never do and makes it somehow fabulous.

Met both she and daughter Melissa, was very sad when Edgar Rosenberg committed suicide. If I had the choice to be around one or the other it would be Melissa. In person JR is nothing like her stage persona. Very quiet, very formal, and not always easy to be around. Melissa on the other hand is an absolute sweetheart and easy to like as a person.

Her "Fashion Police" show makes me literally laugh out loud. Joan is also the first one to poke fun at herself.

Mixed feelings on ol Joan. Funny yes. The movie of hers is owned and made by her. It is not objective and really shows just what she wants us to see. I think my feelings for her really changed on The Celb.Apprentice. Boy, can she play victim like no other. I mean the show is staged for conflict and fake to a degree...but she was awful. I also feel (in jokes) she can dish it out but not take it. Kathy Griffin seems of the same vulnerability. Her daughter is a mess...vile and self absorbed are the first words that come to mind. Oh, and Joan has said the worst thing is when someone says she can't act because she prides herself on it. Good grief...this woman is the worst actor in the biz. But back on track. I think she is funny but I don't "tune in" for her on any show anymore like I did years ago. I give her credit for staying a main player though for decades.
