What crimes did he supposedly commit? A President can't be impeached simply because small minded individuals don't like him.

And, it's not even a requirement that they be small minds.

Popularity has nothing to do with legality. Impeachment, and as a separate issue, removal from office, are legal matters. And, to begin impeachment procedures, a President must first commit a federal crime, a felony.

Bill Clinton perjured himself under oath, when asked about his affair. Trivial? Perhaps. Felony? Definitely. And, with that felony, he had committed a crime sufficient for impeachment.

Barack Obama, no matter how much I dislike him, or disagree with his policies, has committed no crimes.

I've got to back up StormFrontFL, on this one.

And this, Redneckgymrat, is why you are one of the few conservative voices on this board that the majority has no problem with. You argue your points well but aren't afraid to take other viewpoints into consideration and you also accept facts. Other than being from Texas(you better be a Cowboys fan) you have few faults:wink:.

As for those who say that being a redneck is a bad thing, they're wrong. Not every redneck is a hillbilly or stupid. Heck I grew up in a small Southern town and I'm sometimes considered a black redneck

Thank you. I appreciate the compliment...well, except for that bit about Texas being a fault. Them's fightin' words, y'know.

Indeed, quite wrong. Redneck is a mantle worn with pride by those of us who actually understand its meaning. I'm glad I'm not the only one on the forum with that understanding.

I don't want to get well into this, but this president worries me, always has.
I did not know some of these things. I believed this attack was carried out by one rogue soldier.

How do you naysayers explain the complete systematic dismantling of the recent Occupy movement? Every protest from New York to Oakland was dismantled on the same exact day. Peaceful protesters were beaten, tear gassed, and flashbanged.

But if you choose not to believe the huffington post, and instead bury your head in the sand, be my guest:
Occupy Oakland Protests: Did Police Use A Flash-Bang Grenade?

Police said they had no information about whether peaceful protesters were beaten? You trust the police right?
NYC activists differ on Occupy's direction

If your fine with mass surveillance of citizens using military equipment then you are entitled to your opinion:

What about the US military blaming the deaths of 16 civilians on one soldier when witnesses say it was multiple soliders? Who has more to gain by lying?

This is CNN website article about people protesting bill 347 which is an attack on your first ammendment. Is CNN an unreliable source? Are these protesters in the photo protesting something that does not exist?

I believe that Obama is establishing himself as a dictator. I believe that Republicans and Democrats work together to dismantle our rights. I don't believe that these people represent our best interests. Republican and Democrat is not cut and dry good vs evil. It is mostly evil, with a few good candidates who will never have the corrupt corporate backing to even begin to run an effective campaign.

See I think of politicians as nascar drivers without their jackets. If they put their jackets on you would see how many corporations they represent. But you won't see any sign of them caring for the average person.

Obama campaigned as a constitutional lawyer, and now he uses the constitution as toilet paper.

Bush's ineptness worried me. What worries the most about Obama? Is it the fact he is a black man in the leadership of a country who builds its belief on it superiority of white skin? The fact that he is intelligent and does not lose his cool when the so call superior white race goes after him with a lynch mob mentality?

Absolutely correct! People argue Republican/Democrat...Both parties are pursuing a globalist policy driven by powerful multinationals. Witness the "free trade agreements" proposed and instituted by both parties...Look at the patriot act imposed on the American people, by a Republican ( G. Bush) in the name of "protection"...It's nothing more than a attack on your basic freedoms and civil liberties (read it)!
The Dems., with Republican help did away with Glass Stegal, which set the stage for the near collapse of the banking system and the rise of the investment banks influence on gov't. And the derivative fiasco, and the housing crisis. Along with the bail outs of the banks and brokerage houses.
The real power brokers, the multinationals, are more than happy that you/we argue about Dems./Republicans. They have them both in their pockets and no matter who wins, the same agendas are pursued.
The Fed. creates debt out of thin air, which the U.S. gov't.(you and I) agrees to pay back. That money is used, in part, to fund bailouts to the likes of Goldman Saches, who, by the way, is represented influentially in the U.S gov't. by former employees
We invade countries who are, to their misfortune, in possession of natural resources that we want and frame it as "humanitarian effort." As soon as we control that resource, we're looking for the next one...
Witness Saddam Hussein...He had resources that he wanted to trade in denominations other than USD. That threatened reserve currency status of USD. Suddenly he was "a grave threat" to the international community! That, and he didn't want to play by U.S. rules as relates to World Bank and International Monetary Fund. He was no more of a threat to the international community than I am!
Next was Lybia...Same deal. Gaddafi was NO threat to anybody...He had resources and wanted to trade outside of the Bretton Woods Agreement, threatening USD reserve status.
Now we have Iran...Are they a threat? Well, I don't know...BUT, they have resources and we want them. They've made agreements with China to sell oil in denominations other than USD...Are they the demons that our news media characterize them as???
While we're at it, look at the membership of the Tri Lateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group and the World Bank. It's an eye opener...
Vote for whoever you want. It won't make an iota of difference. Argue Dem./Rep. til you're blue in the face...It doesn't matter.
Until we all understand who runs this country and who sends our children to war and who decides policy that effects our every day life...who actually is culpable, we're just, as Kissinger so eloquently stated, "useless eaters" a resource to be exploited...
