Gingrich and Cain are taking part in a one-on-one debate on C-Span on Saturday night. Luckily for Cain, everyone and their brother will be watching the LSU-Alabama game. Gingrich will destroy Cain. Is this the way Gingrich is going to get back in this campaign? Challenge everyone to a one-on-one debate and smash everyone (except Ron Paul)?
One can hope that Herman Cain is soon history. I can't stand the man. But I doubt that two old letches debating tax plans is going to have much impact.
No. Nobody pays attention to the news cycle over the weekend. As a result this will have virtually no impact on the campaign. The Cain campaign will implode either tomorrow if his sex harassment accuser comes forward or on Monday for the same reason.
If there was a confidentiality clause in the agreement between the Restaurant Ass. and the women why is Cain telling what happened?
Cain has no choice but to discuss what happened. If he didn't it would be even more disastrous. Then again the more he talks the worst it gets. But all they have to do is blame the liberal media which is non-existent. The base will rally around him but he will lose those illusive independents.
Ah, therein lies the rub. The constant refrain for decades now is that the "media" in its entirety is "liberally-biased"; it's one of those catch-phrases by which conservatives have declared themselves martyrs since Reagan's first term (or was it Nixon's last?). There's a plain difference between MSNBC and The Washington Post or the NYT, but there's little if any shadow between Fox News and the NY Post or the Washington Times. The "liberal-biased" media regularly posts/publishes opinion pieces from conservatives; can the same be said for the "conservative-biased" media? Like I posted earlier, from when I read two papers daily: the Boston Globe (lib) regularly published op-eds from George Will and WF Buckley, among many others. But the Boston Herald (Murdoch owned) routinely published drivel from Don Feder and Phyllis Schafly. The op-ed page of the Globe was a discussion; the op-ed page of the Herald was a circle jerk.
Please do not defend the NY Times and if even for a SECOND you imply they are balanced and maybe just lean liberal, I suggest you read "Until Proven Innocent." One of the times reporter wrote a lengthy article on the Duke lacrosse case that slammed the falsely accused. When pointed out MULTIPLE factual errors to the author and the editors, only ONE was retracted and the retraction was later retracted. All in the name of a BS African-American, feminim metra-narative created by liberal, idiotic african-american and women studies professor that present nothing in terms of scholarship but the hatred of whites and men. I am guessing this was not a one-time occurence for this putrid of a newspaper.
No, the idiotic ramblings over and over and over by cultural studies professors who cite sources of former cultural studies professors who used craptastic research to begin with to back up their idiotic claims is what I detest. There are great cultural studies and women studies professor. But as shown in the Duke lacrosse case, they are few and far between and they are all about forwarding there agenda, facts be damn. I had a 3.78. I was lucky enough to not run into these professors.
The liberal media is a myth created to keep the dullurds in line. I see they got you. In study, evidence of liberal-bias bias
I think you meant "dullard". Here, I'll do what you just did, minus the veiled misspelled insult. Media Bias Is Real, Finds UCLA Political Scientist / UCLA Newsroom Media Bias Basics Posting articles makes things true!!!
And posting no proof is what? Truth as well? I'm certain bias exists it's just not liberal. It seems the UCLA 'scientist' in your link isn't exactly a person one should go to for objective data. It appears he has written a book. Left Turn: How Liberal Media Bias Distorts the American Mind And not surprisingly a frequent guest on FoxFauxFixed News: Fox News/Fox Business | Tim Groseclose Next why don't you check out Exxon-Mobile's library for global warming books
None of that makes the researchers findings false. You're attempting to poison the well. :cop: Not to mention you ignored the other source of information.
Now Hermie is blaming Perry and two more abused are coming forward.........the only way this could get funnier is that if some of them are men.
Right. A researcher with a clear bias that appears on the most biased network ever to rise out of the gutter and is funded by conservatives and his 'research' is to be believed. Right. Any 'regular' on Fox News is nothing more than a paid political hack. All of them. :lmao::lmao::lmao: So it appears that there are only TWO media outlet's he approves of. That's right two. All the rest liberal rags........... Back in 2005, Tim Groseclose and Jeffrey Milyo -- who have a history of receiving grants and fellowships from various conservative foundations -- published an article in the Quarterly Journal of Economics that claimed to demonstrate "a strong liberal bias" in all news outlets it examined except for the Washington Times and Fox News' "Special Report." Tim Groseclose's Theory of Liberal Media Bias Remains Shaky And as your other source? More propaganda funded by the right. The Media Research Center (MRC) is a content analysis organization based in Alexandria, Virginia, founded in 1987 by conservative activist L. Brent Bozell III. Its stated mission is to "prove — through sound scientific research — that liberal bias in the media does exist and undermines traditional American values" and to "neutralize [that bias's] impact on the American political scene"
The NY Times is a liberal paper? HAHAHA. The way they performed as head cheerleader for Iraq II turned my stomach. American perception of what is "liberal" is a joke.
