As to the OP.... well if i were the poster boy for 'gay men getting more sex than straight men or being sexually promiscuous' then the poll would read a little differently.......gays 0; breeders 100 (excuse by bitter and acrid jab....that's the result of being horny and single LOL)
However i did vote 'YES'.....no matter how i'd like to spin it, my brethren do seem to be their own worst enemies when it comes to the 'promiscious' stereotype.
Yes and no it is way too easy...let's say that the approach among men is very different,compared to the one between men and women. It is far more easy,more down-to-the-ground,more immediate,less seductive and more oriented to the sexual act,rather than to a subtle flirt.
If you go to a club and touch a girl's ass,she will probably give your face a smack. Because she considers this thing too intimate. If you grab a gay man's ass,he will probably be fine or won't care too much. We think the same and everything is faster and easier. This is a good factor if you are looking for one night stands only. But if you're looking for a boyfriend,it becomes a curse! it is very hard to find a nice gay who "wastes" some time to conquer you and stay with you,when he could easily get some sex.

I don't get much deep pleasure from a guy i don't know,that i fuck once and it is over...what i care in life is something that can leave something important in my living,which is more than just an orgasm or two....but that's another story!

Men are more promiscuous than women. Remove women from the equation, and it naturally follows that gay men (or 'straight' men who engage in M/M sex) would be more promiscuous than their 100% straight brothers. There are a lot of reasons for this. Men are opportunistic and ready to go at the drop of a hat (or a zipper), whereas women typically require some seduction or romance. Historically the gender roles in society have allowed men more freedom and opportunities for sex. It's easier for a man to hide his sexual liasons, where it's logistically more complicated for a woman to avoid discovery - trysting in an out-of-the-way, out-of-sight place, fixing her clothes, hair, makeup, etc. afterward. Men don't generally worry about being considered a 'slut', on the contrary, the more sex a man has, the 'bigger man' he is. In addition, gay men don't typically have the same sort of family commitments and expectations of monogamy put on them that straight men do.
Yes, gay (or 'bi') men have more sex, and I think it's a source of resentment for many straight men, and for Puritanical religious fundamentalists of both genders in particular. Subconsciously at least, I think they're jealous, and that's what accounts for a lot of anti-gay prejudice. imho.

yes, totally. try going on a non-sexual date with another gay guy - it's impossible. they always expect a fuck on the first meeting. no matter WHAT you say on your profile, email, or whatever. they even demand a fuck when they don't really WANT a fuck. it's so boring because it's so predictable. and no, i don't think str8 people re 'jealous' - only the closet gays or the ones trapped in totally sexless marriages. i think I'd like to date someone who is paraplegic or at least in a wheelchair so we'd be forced to explore other options. if you're good-looking but can't move very much, get in contact!
