Because of the context. (See Rawb's post) It's trollish behavior. When you troll on the internet, you get into arguments, and maybe you get your IP address blocked from certain cites. When you troll in person, sometimes you get punched in the face. Or electrocuted. Or pepper-sprayed. And sometimes, you just get told off.

as a person who does like to fuck with people or "troll" in real life, getting overly dramatic and causing a scene is what that person is doing .. kindly saying "no" and walking away is probably the best way to tell that guy/girl off and its a win win
